What foraged items should be kept/sold early on?

I just started playing and was wondering what foraged items should be kept in storage or can just be sold. Thank you!

Keep 15 vanilla, it can potentially save you from a huge headache and 2-3 season roadblock later.

Do not sell any amethyst, ruby, jade, and 2 topaz, 10 glittering stone, and 30 scrap ores you obtain from mining
Save up 10 eggs and 10 dairy unless you've upgraded westown to the point that they sell them. 20 milks will also be necessary to create processed item (again you can buy this, but just forewarning)
If you want a western looking large barn saving 20 maple trees.
Save up on all wool products you can, particularly if there are clothes you want.
And save the most expensive fish/crustacian you can find, fish hatcheries become a thing so it's important to keep the most expensive seacreature you find (same with pearl-oysters)

I'd say you want to keep more than just 10 Glittering Stone -- you need 5 for each tool you want to upgrade to make lighter (reduce stamina).

You can find it in Lulukoko next to Ludus' shop, but it can only be picked around once a week. There are 2 trees, but it will take a season and a half to gather enough to make the wine maker.
It doesn't grow in winter, so if you get the request to build the wine maker right as winter is starting and you didn't save up vanilla, your Westown developing progress could be stalled for up to nearly 3 seasons.
The wine maker needs 15 coconuts as well, which could cause even more hang ups if you don't plant a tree ASAP since you can only harvest them in the summer and they take 2 seasons to grow.

I'm guessing coconuts can't be traded? I didn't plant a coconut tree, so I'll have to wait until year 2

The vendor on the north map in Lulukoko will sell it once you reach town rank B or ship 200 fruit crops to them (easy way to do this is buy 200 fruit and then ship them back lol. Make sure it goes to Lulukoko or you'll waste your G)
The other option is to receive a coconut during the fruit festival and put it in the seed maker, once you have one.

haven't even thought about buying the fruits and then selling them
