I know you can read your journal. But this is for after you've entered a festival. Is there a soft reset combo to not keep shutting down and rebooting to re enter?
For 3DS, no. The closest thing we have is to close the application and open it again.
For DS, however, there was the option to press L+R+START+SELECT to soft reset. This still works when playing DS games on the 3DS (I wonder if it works for the 3DS port of Tale of Two Towns?).
Mm? The L+R+Start/Select soft-reset combo still works on the 3DS - I abused it a bit in the original SoS and RF4. Works in Pokémon, too, so I don't think it's just built-in for the farming games.

Hmm, good to know, thanks! I always do Home --> Close --> Open but that takes forever.
