So I met Ludus, got my first house upgrade, but he didn't give me a hammer it's was the 15th and tomorrow is a Thursday will he give the hammer to me Friday?! Or has my game glitched?!

He will give you the hammer when he tells you about the tool upgrading system when you wake up at some point soon.

If it is a Thursday or a Sunday when your upgrade is finished, then he will come to visit you the following Friday/Monday.
