Are you sure you are feeding the right treat? There is a treat for each parameter you can increase (friendship, size, coat, number of products, quality of products). At first, you can only buy the friendship increasing treat, but after you take part in or win (i don't know which one is the requirement) an animal festival you can buy the rest of the treats in the animal shops. You will also be able to buy feed that increase those parameters. The normal feed increases size. The one after the first animal festival increases coat. After 3 festivals, you can buy the feed that increases number of products. The feed for quality needs to be created using some maker in your farm. The description of each treat and feed tells you what parameter they increase.cinericius wrote:How many treats? I've been feeding my sheep for ages and so far nothing.

Yep I only currently use the chewy treat and crispy treat while having them eat spicy feed. I didn't know there is more feeds however, so I just need to win another contest to help speed things along then?Musashi wrote:Are you sure you are feeding the right treat? No, I unlocked all the special treats at the same time, in my first summer.Musashi wrote:Are you sure you are feeding the right treat? Sorry. I don't really understand what you are trying to say. You unlocked them after taking part in the animal festival, which happens for the first time in the first summer for most of the players, which is what I say in my previous post. What unlocks after more festivals is the animal food increasing the number of products, not the treat.Feather Qwill wrote:No, I unlocked all the special treats at the same time, in my first summer.Musashi wrote:Are you sure you are feeding the right treat? Weird...I have a cow with a calm personality, full hearts, and I would give it chewy treats and the product amount increased pretty quickly over a few days maybe a week or so. Actually, it increased quickly for all of my animals, even the birds who I have about 4 hearts with and my alpaca I only have two hearts with. I give them only normal feed and do the normal brushing and such, and only the full heart cow has ever been in contests.

Oh sorry, I misread your post.
My livestock went up to 2 products fairy quickly -- maybe a week of treats? I don't remember, but I was surprised -- But they're all Timid, so that helps. Really, it shouldn't take very long to get the first increase. *headscratch* There's no notification, though, so maybe you're already getting them and didn't realize? Check the livestock book listing to see the number of products you're getting.cinericius wrote:How many treats? I've been feeding my sheep for ages and so far nothing.
