Can your pet collect if it is an indoors pet only? I really like having my dog stay inside the house with me, but I don't want to lose out on its ore gathering job DX Thanks in advance for your thoughts and answers!

I think they do, my herding pet lives indoors but will walk outside to still herd for me before returning home, so I'd imagine it's the same for gathering pets.

Yeah, after you get the food dispenser from Ludus, you can click on your pet house and it will give you the option to put your pet inside the home rather than the outdoor pet house :)
