Moving planted plots

Can you move already growing crop plots to the other farm areas? If you put the soil plot in your pocket, will it still have the trees on it?

Yes you can move to other areas but if you try to put it in your pocket than the stuff disappears though

That's what I was afraid of. Guess I'll just move my animals to the west side then.

The crops won't disappear if you're moving from screen to screen. I've started moving my trees to the south field and they're perfectly fine. As long as you don't store the field in your inventory it'll be fine.
