Two questions:

What time do you go to sleep that you can still wake up at 6am and still get the most out of your day?

What do you do each day to get the most out of it... I have two towns unlocked and I feel like I don't have enough time to look for materials for both towns, fish, farm, tend to animals, and do the jobs. What is your routine that gets what you need? Do you just do one town and the next day the other?

Usually before 11PM.

I'd wake up, take care of my cow, and crops before leaving farm.

I go to Westown first, doing whatever before doing part-time jobs. Since you can do as many as you can I stay in Westown before moving to the second town with the easy teleportation trick.

Info about time under the cut:
Spoiler:
Flow of Time, And What Happens If You Stay Up Too Late
Normal time flow: 1 second of real time = 1 minute in the game. Food can change this: some dishes make time pass twice as quickly, while others cut the flow of time in half. (More about that later…)
If you stay up to 5am, you’ll collapse and wake up at the clinic. (Or Frank’s house if you haven’t yet met Ford.)
If you go to bed before midnight, you’ll wake up at 6am.
Go to bed between midnight and 3am, wake up at 7am.
Go to bed between 3 and 4am, wake up at 8am.
Go to bed between 4 and 5am, wake up at 10am.
If you stay up until 5 (which means, collapse), then wake up at 10am.

As for routines, just unlocked Tsuyukusa, so still trying to work my schedule out.

That said, once you unlock the third town, there will be gates in each town leading into the main area of the next town over, so no need to backtrack through the crossroad, yay!

Or just do the teleportation trick if you have to move on. Part-time jobs sometimes can be a blessing.

That is the best option when possible. But at times I don't get chore jobs from one of the towns, just courrier and shipping jobs, so I can't warp there that day :\

for me after unlocking all 3 towns i have figured out a schedule i tend to do well with

wake up and go fertilize then water crops, take care of animals, then head on out.

day one i go to west town, day two tsuyu, day three lulukoko, there is a fourth day for holiday then repeat

though if I have a set goal in mind i tend to go to one or all the towns... like going to the shops when new stuff happens or buying things to ludus to make or mining if i really need something etc..

usually though during these trips i take care of the foraging and for westie mining during the visit... i don't do part time jobs anymore unless i really need fast teleportation.

so far thats it though, if I have time before bed at night or on the free day i tend to go fishing, or foraging on my farm, cutting down trees or hammering rocks... since i opened up one of the farming areas... stuff like that

edit: oh and i don't really go out of my way to say hi to everyone anymore every day, if i run into them i say hi otherwise oh well festival will catch em up i guess. except for the guy i'm going after i make sure to always go gift him every day XD

1 day West Town/1 day Lulukoko
If I still have time after doing everything in 1 town I head to the other

I take care of crops, cows, chickens. Then go to westown. Talk to everyone and get the delivery items then take a job in another town to teleport talk to everyone, do the same for 3rd town. Deliver all items then off to re water crops and hit the hay. :)

As soon as I wake up I eat something to slow time and tend my fields, animals and other stuff. Then I go shopping, mining, etc. At first I spent the day doing as many part-time jobs as I could, but since I already got the last trophy by completing 3000 jobs, I'm slowly working to get the one for fishing 3000 times. I have full hearts with all the people, so I just give offerings to Dessie and Inari, and a present to Witchie to get the trophies you obtain by doing it 300 times.

Usually I tend to my animals, then I go and take care of all my fields before heading off to Westown to go mining. Those are the only set things I have in my day, though -- after that, I just do whatever I feel like I should do for that day, like visiting villagers I haven't talked to in a while or going shopping for what I need. Normally I'm in bed by 10-11 pm.

I still wish they'd slow down the time in the game; the 2 seconds per minute seems about perfect to me, and I wish it was the default. :C It's just way too fast for me to really relax, and I always feel rushed.
