points for heart level?

Does anybody know how many points or how many things do we have to give to the man we want to upgrade a heart level??
i've been sending Gray eggs and stuffs he likes for many days, but he is still a black heart.
and another question, can we give a person more than one thing each day? will that improve the heart level faster?

10000 and u can give a person 2 items on the same day but the second one barely has any affection

hehe, points are odd, but its good that there are different things in this game, I CANT WAIT!!!!!! *attacks natsume* GIMME THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!! hehe, i get a little vicious when im bored, and i hate waiting forever, too much waiting..............
