Rather than make a bunch of "who/what do you prefer" topics, I thought I'd just compile one big list of categories.

Feel free to go into as much detail as you like (in fact, I encourage it).

If you have a suggestion for a good category to add, please let me know and I'll add it in!

This doesn't have a "which bachelor(ette) is your favorite?" because we have other topics to discuss this.

Here's mine:

1. Town Leader: Megan, Tototara, or Ginjiro?
Tototara. She makes Lulukoko feel like a family rather than just a community. Nothing against Megan or Ginjiro, but they just didn't stand out to me as much as Tototara.

2. Restaurant: Garden Grill, Carosello Café, or Tea-ful Reunion?
Even though I'm married to Siluka and do like Carosello Café, I gotta pick GG because the events that take place there are interesting and amusing. And of course there's Miranda and Frank performing at night.

3. New Year's Celebration: Fireworks Show, Bonfire Dance, or Bell Ringing?
I've only seen the Bonfire Dance, which I enjoyed.

4. Trilympics Event: Egg Hunt, Fishing Tournament, or Daruma Hunt?
Not sure...I don't mind fishing too much, but I hadn't upgraded my fishing rod enough to give myself a fighting chance at catching the biggest fish. The egg and daruma hunts are simple, but I think they're fun too.

5. Romantic Festival: Starry Night, Luminance, or Tanabata?
Haven't seen Tanabata yet, and I had to do Starry Night with a guy since I was already married to a non-Westownian (although it was fun with Wayne). Luminance was enjoyable.

BUT I really wish we coulda seen more, instead of just a background. Why not actually show us in a hot air balloon or a canoe?

6. Part-Time Job Dude: Horatio, Hoala, or Rikyu?
ANYONE BUT HORATIO. But Hoala is really chill, and even though I feel worse coming to him with a failed job, the reason for that is because he says he'll get in trouble too. But overall, love that guy.

7. Transportation Method: Stage Coach, Elephant Taxi, or Palanquin?
Elephants always win. It's too bad we don't get to see the MC ride on it.

8. Old Man: Marco, Haulani, or Umekichi?
Haulani. I like the others too, but Haulani has lots of travel experience and interesting stories to tell.

9. Old Woman: Megan, Tototara, or Omiyo?
Tototara, for the same reason why she's my favorite leader.

10. Town Guardian: Dessie, Witchie, or Inari?
Dessie, although I really like Inari too. Don't like Witchie at all. But anyway, Dessie's really sweet, and although she's inexperienced, she really does try her best and wants to help others.

11. Young Boy: Colin, Schalk, or Yaichi?
Schalk. I love how he looks up to his dad, Ludus, and the MC, and wants to protect others.

12. Young Girl: Noel, Alma, or Sumomo?
Sumomo. That poor child breaks my heart. She seems to have such low self-esteem as it is, and working for Moriya seems to make it worse. She's always afraid of screwing up, which I can relate to in some ways, but she's hard-working and responsible. One of my favorite characters.

13. Older Boy: Tigre or Tatsumi? (no Westown equivalent)
I love them both, but I gotta give it to Tigre. He's very polite and mature.

14. Frustratingly Already-Married Woman: Carrie, Caolila, or Shizu?
This is tough. But I'll have to go with Caolila. In addition to being beautiful and friendly, she's also pretty badass, and I'm fairly certain she

Probably Zahau. I don't DISLIKE Brad or Ittetsu, but Brad's event where

kinda disconcerted me. Not a lot, but a little. And Ittetsu seems like a good guy (and little by little I'm chipping away at his stony exterior), but Zahau is more outgoing and has a larger presence in the village, in my opinion.

Tototara. Partially because as you said she treats the village like a family and it's obvious that everyone looks up to her and respects her. Honestly she also is the only one who really FEELS like a leader most of the time.

2. Restaurant: Garden Grill, Carosello Café, or Tea-ful Reunion?
Carosello. I love the outdoor area along the beach and food, well mostly drinks, are the most overall appealing to me for my actual tastes.

3. New Year's Celebration: Fireworks Show, Bonfire Dance, or Bell Ringing?
Bonfire Dance, though I haven't seen the Fireworks show so far.

4. Trilympics Event: Egg Hunt, Fishing Tournament, or Daruma Hunt?
The Egg hunting/Daruma are really fun and pretty much the same so both of those. I don't care much for fishing.

5. Romantic Festival: Starry Night, Luminance, or Tanabata?
Really hard since they are all really pretty and nice but I'll give it to Luminance since it has the best looking picture.

6. Part-Time Job Dude: Horatio, Hoala, or Rikyu?
Hoala, he is a cool chill guy.

7. Transportation Method: Stage Coach, Elephant Taxi, or Palanquin?
Stage Coach I guess, I don't ever use any of them but it's the nicest form of travel between the three.

8. Old Man: Marco, Haulani, or Umekichi?
Haulani. He's a really interesting character with all of his travelling stories.

9. Old Woman: Megan, Tototara, or Omiyo?
Omiyo. She's such a sweetie and seeing how she is with each of the other town members is so cute.

10. Town Guardian: Dessie, Witchie, or Inari?
Inari. They're just adorable, I really want to marry them once the DLC is released.

11. Young Boy: Colin, Schalk, or Yaichi?
Schalk. I like how excitable he is and seeing him admire his father is nice.

12. Young Girl: Noel, Alma, or Sumomo?
Sumomo. Poor girl works so hard no matter how much she messes up.

13. Older Boy: Tigre or Tatsumi? (no Westown equivalent)
Tigre. He's very adult for his age and like his grandfather really interesting.

Caolila. She's kind, strong willed and fearless, just awesome.

Zahau. Such a great guy, a real family man and you can see how he's always doing pretty much everything to help them.

Which/who is the best...
1. Town Leader: Megan, Tototara, or Ginjiro?
Tototara is, for some reason, the one character in Trio that I actively dislike, so not her. I also don't get any cuddly feelings from Megan, she's too reserved for that or something, so I guess it's Ginjiro? Though he doesn't seem like a leader type at all, to me, more like a class-clown type. But maybe that's just his appearance.

2. Restaurant: Garden Grill, Carosello Café, or Tea-ful Reunion?
Garden Grill has the best social atmosphere, imo, and Carosello has the prettiest setting. Tea-ful reunion doesn't have anything that interests me...but I bet they have the best tea there. If this were real life, the place I'd most want to go is actually my least favourite place to go in the game.

3. New Year's Celebration: Fireworks Show, Bonfire Dance, or Bell Ringing?
I've only seen the bonfire dance but I think I'd prefer both the others to that because another festival with dancing is not my favourite when we already have three of them.

4. Trilympics Event: Egg Hunt, Fishing Tournament, or Daruma Hunt?
EGG HUNTING. IRL I am slightly obsessed with eggs, both as food and as decorative items. Boiled eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, chocolate eggs, dyed eggs, faberge eggs, batik eggs, pysanka, clay eggs...GIVE ME ALL THE EGGS.

5. Romantic Festival: Starry Night, Luminance, or Tanabata?
DEFINITELY Tanabata, as it's the only one where you actually get to do something, even if it's just to choose a wish. And it has major benefits to boot.

6. Part-Time Job Dude: Horatio, Hoala, or Rikyu?
I never notice these guys at all, tbh...I'm indifferent to all of them. I thought Rikyu was a girl. No?

7. Transportation Method: Stage Coach, Elephant Taxi, or Palanquin?
Stage coaches are rough, bumpy and dusty...and have you ever smelled an elephant? Guh, it's the odor is quite offensive, even in a huge gymnasium-sized room or tent. Give me a palanquin for sure, and some cute folks to be the bearers, too.

8. Old Man: Marco, Haulani, or Umekichi?
I love Umekichi and Omiyo...so much that they give Yuzuki and extra edge as a bachelor as I also want his grandparents! I do also kind of like Haulani, though. Marco seems more like a joke character than a developed person, so not him.

9. Old Woman: Megan, Tototara, or Omiyo?
See above question. Omiyo is super sweet. I dislike Tototara and Megan comes across as a bit of a cold fish to me, though I'm not sure why...I don't dislike her I just...never end up talking to her because she never says anything I find interesting?

10. Town Guardian: Dessie, Witchie, or Inari?
Hrm. I guess Inari. Dessie would be last, but Witchie and Inari are both very cute. I think Inari as he comes across as the most mature and responsible, even if they do all look about the same age.

11. Young Boy: Colin, Schalk, or Yaichi?
Yaichi. I love how SOLEMN he is. His weird hair actually makes that even cuter.

12. Young Girl: Noel, Alma, or Sumomo?
I'm indifferent to Noel and dislike Alma, so it's Sumomo, plus she's a kid and already working...impressive. They're all cute-looking, though.

13. Older Boy: Tigre or Tatsumi? (no Westown equivalent)
Tigre. I ended up not really liking Tatsumi much after all. Difference in dialogue translation, I guess. I also like the overly-mature kids all the time, it seems, and Tigre has more of that. Plus I love the white hair with the handsome skin tone and the bright blue eyes.

14. Frustratingly Already-Married Woman: Carrie, Caolila, or Shizu?
Shizu is dazzling. Carrie's sweet, but not interesting to me, and Caolila...nah. Hate her eyebrows, btw...they look like lightning. They're very similar to my grandpa's eyebrows. I tend not to like characters with hidden terrible tempers, as they remind me of certain real life people I prefer to avoid, so Caolila wasn't someone I felt like I wanted to get to know better. Funny how real life intrudes on everything...

15. Frustratingly Already-Married Man: Brad, Zahau, or Ittetsu?
None, thanks. But if it's 'you HAVE to choose one' then...Ittetsu. Also...why no Ginjiro? Lol.

Caolila. She is one tough woman and everyone knows not to mess with her or get on her bad side.

Zahau, by learning about his past in some friend events i really came into liking this dude the most. He is tough and Stubborn but at the same time really friendly and caring. I would even call him my big brother.

Tototara. She is one of my favourite characters and her being Ludus' grandmother makes it all the more awesome.

Inari. Because Inari is doing something, I guess? I dunno. The scene where you meet Inari is funny, especially the part where Dessie and Witchie were lectured then sent into time out.

Yaichi. Yaichi is kinda sorta naughty, you know? He is a little kid. I like Shalk as well.

12. Young Girl: Noel, Alma, or Sumomo?
Noel.

Tatsumi. He's pretty insightful.

I'd have to go back into the game and hang around her for a bit to dredge up my precise reasons, but in general I just find I feel irritated whenever I talk to her. She seems a little arrogant, maybe. I guess it's like real life...sometimes you meet people who don't do anything horrible to you or anyone else that you know of, yet you just can't get yourself to LIKE them...they just rub you the wrong way. Mannerisms, I suppose. I'm sure if I thought about it carefully and paid attention to which of her comments annoys me most distinctly, I could explain why I dislike her...but I haven't done that. Doesn't seem helpful to dwell on why I dislike one of them so when that happens I just ignore the disliked one and pay more attention to the liked ones.

I think whenever I end up instinctively disliking a character as I did with Tototara, it usually boils down to them reminding me of someone who aggravates me IRL.

Yes, Tototara seems quite popular...I'm pretty sure I'm in a very small minority with my dislike of her. I have the sneaking suspicion that she's triggering the edge some infuriating memory...but I can't quite bring it to the front of my head to scrutinize it in detail (and I probably don't want to...I think bad memories are best when repressed, lol.) I just disliked her as soon as she started saying more things to my MC and it's continued...she gets my back up. Can't fully explain it, but definitely can't list her as my favourite in any category, anyway. I think everyone else did except one person, though, in the town leader category? Will have to look back through those answers again. (EDIT: Oh wait, it was you, Aio. LOL!)

1. Town Leader: Megan, Tototara, or Ginjiro?
Tototara! Like Alexaius, I feel she's the only one that actually has a village leader feel to her. Her role as priestess seems a lot more important to me than Megan's role as a small farmer and Ginjiro's as a tea shop owner, in the realm of being a town leader, anyway. I always show her the peacock bird at the altar :3

2. Restaurant: Garden Grill, Carosello Café, or Tea-ful Reunion?
Carosello is the most fun looking to me, but actual food wise I'd be much more interested in Tea-ful Reunion. Plus, I mean, their name is a pun, come on. I'm completely uninterested in Garden Grill. Well, unless they have Blooming Onions.

3. New Year's Celebration: Fireworks Show, Bonfire Dance, or Bell Ringing?
I dislike fireworks, so definitely not that one. I've only seen the Bell Ringing so far (I was torn between Tsuyukusa and Lulukoko for the New Years, and ultimately decided on Tsu because I needed to raise my FP with the candidates there more.... and Tsu is where my waifu I mean Inari is). But... I got bored during the Bell Ringing ':D The mochi making was fun, but I think I would enjoy the Bonfire Dance signifficantly more.

4. Trilympics Event: Egg Hunt, Fishing Tournament, or Daruma Hunt?
I haven't experienced the Daruma Hunt, but I'm gonna guess it's basically equivalent to the Egg Hunt? But maybe with some more frustrating spots for eggs to be hidden? I'm looking at your field, Umekichi. I really enjoyed the Fishing Tournament, but I had the time slow buff when the tournament happened so it kinda took FOREVER. To be honest I think I enjoyed the Egg Hunt more, because it only took a minute as apposed to like... ten.

5. Romantic Festival: Starry Night, Luminance, or Tanabata?
I haven't experienced Tanabata yet. But I loved going out on a boat for Luminance.... after looking up the events, I think I would enjoy Luminance more irl, but game mechanics Tanbata is more 'useful'.

6. Part-Time Job Dude: Horatio, Hoala, or Rikyu?
I only like the Lulukoko one. I don't know what their name is (looked it up). I know they're not Horatio.

7. Transportation Method: Stage Coach, Elephant Taxi, or Palanquin?
I don't care dude, is one cheaper than the other??? They all sound pretty bumpy and awful to me, going off of what Kikki said.

8. Old Man: Marco, Haulani, or Umekichi?
I don't even know who Haulana is. ....ohhhh the white haired veteran. I guess I only bother talking to Umekichi, so him. Plus, he's Yuzuki's granddad. Yuzuki's adorable. Bonus points.

9. Old Woman: Megan, Tototara, or Omiyo?
Tototara is fantastic, again. But I feel kinda bad voting for her twice. Omiyo is cute, too.

10. Town Guardian: Dessie, Witchie, or Inari?
WHAT I HAVE TO CHOOse between a waifu and a Dessie???! Uh. Dessie is adorable and sweet, but I guess if I were to have a guardian out of the two, I would feel the most blessed and looked over with Inari. Inari is very responsible, what a good foxie. I don't consider Witchie a guardian, she's just a magical person that lives in the ruins.

11. Young Boy: Colin, Schalk, or Yaichi?
I don't care about any of them.

Tatsumi! He has some very charming dialouge lines. Plus he's fluffy and purple! Tigre's portrait just looks funky to me...

UGH BOTH CARRIE AND SHIZU ARE ADORABLE/BEAUTIFUL RESPECTIVELY AND CAOLILA IS SO COOL this is way harder than the Dessie and Inari decision ;w; Carrie doesn't have kids though, right?? Or are one of the kids hers?

15. Already-Married Man: Brad, Zahau, or Ittetsu?
I don't particularly care for any of them... Zahau is the most impressive skill-wise! Brad disappointed me the moment he acted all jealous of Wayne, and Ittetsu, eh I just don't like how he looks? But I'm glad he makes Shizu happy!

Which/who is the best...
1. Town Leader: Megan, Tototara, or Ginjiro?
I'm kinda indifferent to all three. I guess I'd have to choose Tototara since I love Lulukoko the most.

2. Restaurant: Garden Grill, Carosello Café, or Tea-ful Reunion?
Garden Grill! It beats out Carsello Cafe just because I've had access to it longer.

3. New Year's Celebration: Fireworks Show, Bonfire Dance, or Bell Ringing?
I haven't had those yet.

4. Trilympics Event: Egg Hunt, Fishing Tournament, or Daruma Hunt?
I liked the idea of working in teams. But I've only done the fishing tournament so far.

5. Romantic Festival: Starry Night, Luminance, or Tanabata?
Haven't done these yet.

6. Part-Time Job Dude: Horatio, Hoala, or Rikyu?
Hoala. Horatio needs to chill.

MY HORSE! But I wish it would stay where I put it and not wonder off. I spend more time looking for where it went than I would have traveling on foot.

I don't have a fav.

10. Town Guardian: Dessie, Witchie, or Inari?
Inari is really charming for being so formal.

Colin! He's such a sweetie.

Alma.

Tigre. I love how serious he is.

ALL OF THEM. I have Carrie at 4 hearts and I'll start on Caolila and Shizu next. THEY WILL ALL BE MY FRIENDS.

Brad and Ittetsu for sure. I guess I haven't spent that much time with Zahau yet. I have Brad at 5 hearts and he has a line where he says "If I weren't married..." BE STILL MY HEART.

I'd say Tototara since she's got the most spunk.

Bell Ringing. Solemn, peaceful, but with a lively party at the end

Star festival which I'm assuming is Tanabata.

Hoala. He seems like a nice friendly dude.

Elephant Taxi. I used that the most often.

Umekichi probably. He really feels like a grandpa.

I'm torn. Omiyo reminds me of my own grandma but Tototara's gotta a lot of personality and Megan is always there to help you out.

Inari and Dessie. Witchie is OK.

Colin for sure.

They're both good in their own way.

Neither frustrates me that I can't marry them. If I had to choose, I'd pick Carrie.

Again, it doesn't frustrate me that I can't marry them. However I would choose Ittetsu if I had to pick.
