Which/who is the best...
1. Town Leader: Megan, Tototara, or Ginjiro?
I'm actually not super confident in my answer here, because I admittedly...don't particularly love any one of them over the other? I don't dislike them, but they're characters I haven't paid a ton of attention to. I guess Megan might be my favourite of the three if I had to choose one, if only because of her odd friendship event!

2. Restaurant: Garden Grill, Carosello Café, or Tea-ful Reunion?
Carosello Cafe! I love the pretty view. That being said, irl, I'd probably go to Tea-ful Reunion a lot more.

3. New Year's Celebration: Fireworks Show, Bonfire Dance, or Bell Ringing?
I admittedly haven't been able to view the latter two, so I'm going to say the Fireworks Show by default. It helps that my character is married to Ford, so it feels the most "natural" for me to pick too!

4. Trilympics Event: Egg Hunt, Fishing Tournament, or Daruma Hunt?
Either of the hunts! Fishing is okay, but I'd rather just run around and collect things.

5. Romantic Festival: Starry Night, Luminance, or Tanabata?
I love all three, though Tanabata probably gets bonus points just because you can make a wish.

6. Part-Time Job Dude: Horatio, Hoala, or Rikyu?
Hoala, for being the chillest of the trio. :'D

7. Transportation Method: Stage Coach, Elephant Taxi, or Palanquin?
Uuuuhhhh, Palanquin I guess? No pref here, really!

8. Old Man: Marco, Haulani, or Umekichi?
Umekichi, for being an absolutely adorable grandfather character. :'D

9. Old Woman: Megan, Tototara, or Omiyo?
Omiyo, for pretty much the same thing above @ adorable grandmother character.

10. Town Guardian: Dessie, Witchie, or Inari?
It's a tie between Dessie and Inari for me! They're both really endearing! I don't dislike Witchie, but she definitely can't compete between these two.

11. Young Boy: Colin, Schalk, or Yaichi?
Colin, hands down. His happy portrait coupled with the things he says absolutely melts my heart. :') What a qt~

12. Young Girl: Noel, Alma, or Sumomo?
Sumomo! She works so hard and just a terribly sweet little girl in general. It makes me sad whenever Moriya gets mad at her. ;__;a I just want to pick her up and hold her over my head.

13. Older Boy: Tigre or Tatsumi? (no Westown equivalent)
Tatsumi! I really enjoyed his friendship event, and I think it's sweet how much he obviously loves his little brother. Honestly, the kids in the game really just get me; I love them all.

14. Frustratingly Already-Married Woman: Carrie, Caolila, or Shizu?
No preference here, to be honest. If I had to choose one, Carrie, maybe? I love how sweet and cheerful she is!

15. Frustratingly Already-Married Man: Brad, Zahau, or Ittetsu?
Same boat as the above! Uhh...Ittetsu if I had to pick though, I suppose. The quiet ones, yesss

1. Town Leader: Megan, Tototara, or Ginjiro?: Tototara, because she is the village matriarch and is a kind grandma[/b]

2. Restaurant: Garden Grill, Carosello Café, or Tea-ful Reunion?: Garden Grill! Brad and Carrie are two of my favorite NPCs <3

3. New Year's Celebration: Fireworks Show, Bonfire Dance, or Bell Ringing?: I haven't reached NY yet

4. Trilympics Event: Egg Hunt, Fishing Tournament, or Daruma Hunt?: Egg Hunt simply because I haven't had the Daruma Hunt and I don't like fishing

6. Part-Time Job Dude: Horatio, Hoala, or Rikyu?: Hoala bc he isn't an « Mr.Gourmet's hat »

8. Old Man: Marco, Haulani, or Umekichi?: Umekichi. A sweet grandpa who reminds me of my own dearly departed one

10. Town Guardian: Dessie, Witchie, or Inari?: I think Inari's interest in humanity is really cute and really enjoy their dialogue about what they observe, so probably them

11. Young Boy: Colin, Schalk, or Yaichi? Colin!! He is so adorable and hands down one of my favorite villagers in general. His events were so well written <3

12. Young Girl: Noel, Alma, or Sumomo?: Noel. She's so funny and I love her design.

13. Older Boy: Tigre or Tatsumi?: Tatsumi, if only because I prefer his design.

Totorara. The other two don't really feel like "leaders" to me. Megan maybe a little bit since I think I remember her being a small bit involved in the beginning tutorial. Ginjiro I honestly don't see as a town leader at all.

2. Restaurant: Garden Grill, Carosello Café, or Tea-ful Reunion?
Tough choice between Garden Grill and Carosello Café but GG wins out just slightly. Carosello Café is gorgeous and I would probably hang out there everyday, but GG has more food items that I would enjoy, and Carrie and Brad.

3. New Year's Celebration: Fireworks Show, Bonfire Dance, or Bell Ringing?
Not sure yet.

4. Trilympics Event: Egg Hunt, Fishing Tournament, or Daruma Hunt?
Fishing tournament.

Hoala, definitely. I didn't even know Rikyu's name, and I don't like Horatio at all.

No real preference, but Palanquin to choose something. I don't think I've used fast travel once yet.

8. Old Man: Marco, Haulani, or Umekichi?
VERY tough between Haulani and Umekichi but I'm going to go with Haulani. Umekichi is so sweet but Haulani is just a bit more interesting.

9. Old Woman: Megan, Tototara, or Omiyo?
Omiyo! Too cute. Her and Umekichi are so precious.

10. Town Guardian: Dessie, Witchie, or Inari?
Dessie. I was excited about Inari but I find them to be relatively dull, so far anyways. Dessie is totally adorable.

11. Young Boy: Colin, Schalk, or Yaichi?
I LOVE YAICHI! Colin is a very close second, though.

12. Young Girl: Noel, Alma, or Sumomo?
Noel makes me laugh so she wins it. Alma is cute and very lively, and Sumomo is cute and I feel bad for her, but I just don't love them as much.

13. Older Boy: Tigre or Tatsumi? (no Westown equivalent)
Tigre, definitely. I know I am in the minority here, but Tatsumi doesn't stand out to me at all. I love his brother, though.

14. Frustratingly Already-Married Woman: Carrie, Caolila, or Shizu?
Carrie, hands down. I love her and Brad so, so, so much.

15. Frustratingly Already-Married Man: Brad, Zahau, or Ittetsu?
Brad.

Which/who is the best...
1. Town Leader: Megan, Tototara, or Ginjiro?
As much as I'd like to be contrary and go against the popular opinion, I gotta go with Tototara. She is just...regal, in a way, and very dependable. If the apocalypse happened and I had to choose the leader of our survival squad, it would be Tototara. Megan goes nuts when she eats fish so not much trust there, and I wouldn't trust Ginjiro with an empty diaper pail, let alone my life.

2. Restaurant: Garden Grill, Carosello Café, or Tea-ful Reunion?
Tea-ful Reunion for their menu but Garden Grill for atmosphere. Brad and Carrie keep it lively and having Miranda and Frank come in to provide entertainment is fantastic. So...Garden Grill overall.

3. New Year's Celebration: Fireworks Show, Bonfire Dance, or Bell Ringing?
Fireworks show. I went to all three and preferred the atmosphere at Westown. Maybe it's because it was closer to how I myself celebrate New Year's? The Bonfire Dance was tedious to watch the twins perform the same spinny dance three times in a row and the Tsuyukusa idea of "let's be quiet and think about the last year" just kind of squicks me out. The past is the past and I don't want to dwell on all the « Cow Poopoo » that happened the last year. I'd rather party all night with the cheerful folks of Westown.

4. Trilympics Event: Egg Hunt, Fishing Tournament, or Daruma Hunt?
I'm going with the Daruma Hunt because they're so darn cute and I can't stand the fishing tournament because I always lose. The egg hunt is cute too but not as cute as darumas.

5. Romantic Festival: Starry Night, Luminance, or Tanabata?
This one is hard, but the tangible benefits of the Tanabata Festival make it the winner. I agree with others that have said it's sad that we don't get to see a shot of canoes or balloons in the other two. Also Ludus is completely not romantic in the Luminance festival. He's like 'hey, check out the lights. It's cool that we're alone, right? Time to go back.' At least Wayne was romantic during the Starry Night.

6. Part-Time Job Dude: Horatio, Hoala, or Rikyu?
I think we can all agree that « Snuggly Bunny » Horatio and « Snuggly Bunny » Rikyu because they're « Duck Quackers ». So Hoala is the only one left. He's acceptable. I'll take him.

7. Transportation Method: Stage Coach, Elephant Taxi, or Palanquin?
I don't use any of them? But I always feel bad for the person running the palanquin and the stage coach is super boring so I'm gonna have to go with the Elephant Taxi even if elephants smell bad and their poop is probably a national disaster.

8. Old Man: Marco, Haulani, or Umekichi?
Marco can suck a fish and Haulani seems high. I've gotta go with my buddy Umekichi here because he's so sweet and he loves white rice, which is a super easy gift. Plus he's always offering to help me farmer-to-farmer and that means a lot. Love the guy, mean it.

9. Old Woman: Megan, Tototara, or Omiyo?
I've already explained my thoughts on Megan and Tototara. You'd think Tototara would win this one because she's practically « Harvest Goddess », but she ticks me off with her constant snarky comments about how many young men she had trying to do all her chores and walk her home. YOU'RE OLD AND LEATHERY NOW, GET OVER IT. This doesn't mean that Omiyo just wins by default, though. Omiyo wins because she is the sweetest little dumpling that gaming has ever created. I love her and everything about her and I want her to be my grandmother. I've considered marrying Yuzuki just for his grandparents.

10. Town Guardian: Dessie, Witchie, or Inari?
Witchie is a little « Baaaa *glomp* ». Inari is great, but the romantic undertones ruin it for me because I have no intention of marrying a deity that is shorter than me and can't live in my house, eat my « Cow Poopy » cooking, and go do chores for me. Dessie wins because she is adorable and she gives me cloth in exchange for flowers I plucked literally five steps away from her waterfall.

11. Young Boy: Colin, Schalk, or Yaichi?
I don't like Schalk, which seems to go against the popular opinion here. I only marginally like Yaichi because his hair makes me want to pick him up by his ponytail and see how far I can throw him with my massive farming strength. I like Colin best because he is adorable and sweet and his relationship with his father makes me cry.

12. Young Girl: Noel, Alma, or Sumomo?
I have no strong opinions here. Noel wins because the other two lose. Alma is a brat and made her father eat literal dirt and Sumomo IS BEING FORCED INTO CHILD SLAVERY AND ALSO LIVES WITH A GROWN « Mr.Gourmet's hat » MAN IN A SHED???? What is wrong with this game?????

13. Older Boy: Tigre or Tatsumi? (no Westown equivalent)
Tatsumi because Tigre would kill me in my sleep if he thought it would improve his swordplay and make Ludus happy.

14. Frustratingly Already-Married Woman: Carrie, Caolila, or Shizu?
They're all gorgeous and hilarious and I love them. Caolila wins, though, because she is strong and independent and climbs cliffs to find eggs. Mad lady crush on her here.

15. Frustratingly Already-Married Man: Brad, Zahau, or Ittetsu?
Ittetsu is about as interesting to talk to as the Ra-Man's podium he stands in front of. It's really a toss-up for me between Zahau and Brad because they're both really interesting characters and I love them dearly. In the end, though...Zahau is gonna take it for me because he ate literal dirt for his daughter and also because he makes such a power couple with Caolila. The two of them are my second favorite couple in the game behind Umekichi and Omiyo.

Tototara, because she's an awesome old lady, and I actually find her comments about all the guys who used to practically throw themselves at her pretty amusing.

2. Restaurant: Garden Grill, Carosello Café, or Tea-ful Reunion?
Tea-ful Reunion, because Japanese restaurants are some of my favorite to go to in real life.

3. New Year's Celebration: Fireworks Show, Bonfire Dance, or Bell Ringing?
Fireworks Show, because come on. Fireworks. Awesome.

Tie between Egg Hunt and Daruma. Easier, done quicker, especially if you chow down on an omelet or something before.

Hoala. He's a bro, and isn't a jerk to you.

Enh. All the same to me.

I actually like Marco. He's my fishin' buddy.

Tototara again. Omiyo is sweet and all, but Tototara is just overall more amusing.

Witchie and Inari both. Because I can talk to them without having to exit out a menu.

I've only done that fishing tournament but I won, and I like things that I win at!

Which/who is the best...
1. Town Leader: Megan, Tototara, or Ginjiro? Tototara. Megan isn't really that involved in the town outside of her events, she just tends to her farm, hangs out with Marco while he fishes, and goes to the general store. Ginjiro is busy with his restaurant and has his own ambitions. Tototara is the only one who really devotes all of her time and effort to being an elder - even the inn is a little more like a community center.

2. Restaurant: Garden Grill, Carosello Café, or Tea-ful Reunion? Tea-ful Reunion. The food is (...looks...) so good, and there are so many regulars! It's also made clear that Ginjiro is super, super talented. I think Garden Grill comes really close, but Brad is really just starting out his career. I do like that Garden Grill is open so late, though. Carosello is kind of a poor excuse for a restaurant, it's all drinks and desserts... I like the variety but it's frustrating because MC can't REALLY refill her belly on watermelon juice and vanilla ice cream.

3. New Year's Celebration: Fireworks Show, Bonfire Dance, or Bell Ringing? I haven't done any of these so I'll withhold judgment, but fireworks are always great HM events -- bonfire dance sounds awesome, though.

4. Trilympics Event: Egg Hunt, Fishing Tournament, or Daruma Hunt? I've only done fishing tournament, but it was fun! A little lackluster, though. I LOVE the egg hunt from 64 so I'm looking forward to the other two.

6. Part-Time Job Dude: Horatio, Hoala, or Rikyu? Hoala is the most laid back, I think. Horatio is a little mean. Rikyu's ok but for some reason he blends into his surroundings and I have a hard time finding him.

8. Old Man: Marco, Haulani, or Umekichi? I haven't met Haulani yet (TIME GOES SO SLOW AHHHH), but between Marco and Umekichi, I'm going with Umekichi. I'm not very good friends with him, but he seems really nice.

9. Old Woman: Megan, Tototara, or Omiyo? OMIYO, OMIYO FOREVER, OMIYO FOR GRANDMA OF THE CENTURY. Too bad I'm just not a Yuzuki fan.

10. Town Guardian: Dessie, Witchie, or Inari? It's gotta be Witchie But Inari's a lot sweeter than expected, so I like them a lot. Dessie is really cute in this one, too.

11. Young Boy: Colin, Schalk, or Yaichi? COLIN, DON'T YOU DARE SAY IT'S ANYONE ELSE, IT HAS TO BE COLIN

12. Young Girl: Noel, Alma, or Sumomo? Sumomo!!! She's so sweet ;A; I love her. But I love ALL the little girls. I'm best friends with Alma out of these. (but I still pick Sumomo. I just danced with her at the Festival of Plenty!)

13. Older Boy: Tigre or Tatsumi? (no Westown equivalent) I haven't met Tigre yet but everyone loves him and I don't like Tatsumi that much so probably Tigre

14. Frustratingly Already-Married Woman: Carrie, Caolila, or Shizu? Oh this is hard :[ I like Shizu, she's nice. I took to her right away when I unlocked Tsuyukusa and she's probably my closest friend there besides Hinata, who I actively gift.

Tototara, she just feels like more of a leader to me. Funny too, with tales from her youth.

Carasello, just because of the location. Not a balanced diet, but eating shore-side? Count me in.

Ahh haven't gotten this far yet, but I'm thinking Fireworks.

I got my behind whooped in the fishing tourney, so definitely NOT that.

Tototara is a queen, plain and simple. She just has this commanding way about her that makes her seem larger than life. Megan is second. Ginjiro seems like comedic relief to me.

I'll have to go with the Garden Grill. Live music, yes please. Carosello Cafe has a nice view, but I don't like the sun.

Past my bedtime. I have a farm to run people. Spring crops to plant tomorrow. Don't have time for your shenanigans.

I prefer the hunts. The only reason we won the fishing tournament is because Ludus carried our team.

Luminance, I much rather be on a boat because I can always swim. If the hot air balloon had trouble I'd be dead.

I haven't met them all, but Horatio can eat grapes.
