Anyway, I found more cute little details in the game.

The first one I found was during the Animal Festival. During the festival, I saw Inari standing frontmost on the crowd. It seems that your sweetheart will stand frontmost on the competitive festivals. That's really adorable!

On a not so adorable note, Inari doesn't react to desserts on Valentine's Day, even after married.
I do seem to recall that the DLC fixes that.

...Kinda makes me think that Inari was some sort of last minute addition to the game...

Inari was a last-minute candidate, actually. Not the character, but the marriageability, ofc.
I remember seeing an official source on it, but that might take a while to find. Marie mentions it, though.

Inari standing in the front is adorable, though I took a miiverse of it when I saw Inari in-front during my Cooking Festival :3

Alpacas and the horse in the last game were just straight evil. I had to give them their own barn just to get them out of my way while I was taking care of the rest of the animals.

I only found out a couple of things from playing; most are well known facts anyway...


-You don't need to mash the 'A' button while fishing, pressing the button once reals in the fish.

-festival music is remixed fashion fiesta music from SOS, and it's hella groovy

-don't know if the alarm clock exists this time around, but if you need to pass time quickly, have a decent amount of money, and Tsuyukusa is ranked up (to B?), taking 2 hour baths at the bath house speeds up the day quickly.

-if you ignore and don't feed pets, they get really stressed and chubby, like in SOS/ANB

-waiting to collect from the fish trap in Lulukoko gives bigger/more rare fish, but that's just a well-known fact anyway.

I've learned that it's very easy to earn FP quickly. Not even fall and Wayne's at yellow flower. I've picked Charmer, but still.

Also doing the part time jobs for certain people. I was wondering for the longest time why Ludus and Ford were my highest bachelor relationships even though I was constantly ignoring them before I remembered that part time jobs give a small boost to fp over time, especially doing every single one every day, lol.

Not sure if this is a coincidence or what, but I gave Megan her favourite food for her birthday present (wrapped and all that).
The next day or two days after that, I talked to her again and she told me how delicious that Carrot Soup was! (her favourite food). And that she wants to give me something in return.
And she gave me potato pancake on the spot o___O This is the first time I've ever gotten something from this pixelated peeps outside my birthday so.....
Not sure what triggers this, whether it's just their birthday with favourite present or they'll do it when you give them their favourite food but..... is this game amazing or whatttttt :3

just tested my theory and it's true. If you give favourite food as birthday present, the next day when you talk to them, they'll mention how good the food was and give you something in return.

I can confirm that the reverse is true, too. I tend to wear long-sleeve outfits like the long apron dress and girl's hanbok, and characters from Lulukoko would constantly be like, "I can see you sweating from here! Aren't you hot in that!?" Even other characters in other towns during summer! XD

Yeah, I was one of the ones who continued to mash buttons when fishing. It's a habit.
