I'm really excited for this as I've been trying to play more SMT games (not just Persona), but I'm really surprised about it being on 3DS. I'm thankful because it gives me less reason to save up for a console I can't afford, but at the same time it doesn't make sense to not work on releasing it as a switch exclusive... Or even work on a Switch version.

Is it because Strange Journey was originally a DS game, iirc?

I will probably buy it if they keep the first-person dungeons.

It's easier to port it from DS to 3DS than to Switch because that means they would have to do additional work for graphics and whatnot.

I'm definitely looking forward to this. That being said, I wish they didn't replace Kaneko's character design, though I also like Doi's.

Oh, yeah that makes sense. I didn't consider that.
