I'm going to add more animals soon.

I realized after I got my cow and sheep that I'd named both with names ending in "A", so now all my barn animals' (except the bunnies) names end in A.

Cow: Rosa
Sheep: Bella
Alpaca: Pashma
Suffolk Sheep: Sheila

I'm naming all my birds after Guardians of Ga'hoole characters. Anyone read that series? I used to love it.

Chicken: Gylfie
Quail: Strix

And my dogs I just name whatever I feel like naming them.

Husky: Alfwin
Bernese Mountain Dog: Dingo
Tibetan Mastiff: Mama (Would've been "Big Mama," like the owl in Fox and the Hound, but it didn't fit.)

for my cows I use moon-inspired names. The normal one is called Selene, the Jersey Cow is called Luna and the Buffalo's name is Hecate.
My chicken is Izzy, the silkie chicken is Clary and Quail is called Aya.
I always call the white Alpaca Sansa and the brown one Arya, my rabbits are called Rose and Lily, the normal sheep's name is Zelda, the Suffolk sheep is Lyra and finally the Llama is Thea

Okay, I think I've finally memorized all my animals' names, so here we go with a full list. No particular theme, but it's probably pretty obvious I love Disney movies.

Normal Cow - Jackie (from my novel)

I might sell the dog soon. I'm not fond of dogs and neither is my OC. He was just the only other animal I could buy at the time who could herd livestock. I'd rather just have an army of cats. Plus I realised my Uncle Frank has the exact same type of dog named Lucky, so I can headcanon that I just gave Rufus to my uncle and he changed his name to Lucky, so Rufus/Lucky is living happily with a relative and I won't feel bad for getting rid of him.

I sometimes call my animals by their Russian names, like Korova and Telka for Cow. It means cow and calf
Zaika and Krolik for rabbits, you get it, means hare and rabbit
Sheep is Ovza or Oven
Chicken is Kura

Because other names are the same or almost the same, Llama is Llilly
Alpaca is Alisa or Alina
Jersy is Jerry
Bubble Cow is Bubble
Quail is Queen and Qualy
Silkie is Sunny or Starry, or Silkie
Suffolk Sheep is Sfaffy
As you can see, I am not very good with names
I do not even remember names of most of my pets, I have 12. I know I have Silver, Dimond, and Gold
My furmiliar is special, her name is Harley after my IRL husky

I usually don't get much further than "Milks" for cows/milk animals and "Wools" for sheep/llamas/alpacas haha. I put some thought into my chicken/egg animal names, though! They'll be named either Lillia, Popuri or Rick.

I might eventually start naming my other animals after families from older games.

I name my animals whatever comes to mind at the moment I buy them, but I do it alphabetical style. I did name my chicken "Bokjoo" (if anyone has watched the Korean drama Weighlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, it's perfect isn't it?? )
