I was expecting a boy, because that's what I always get when the game decides. She ended up being a girl. I do prefer the daughter's design over the son's but not by much. It doesn't really matter which gender I get. Though in my Hinata file, I would prefer it was a son but won't reload if it's a daughter.

You can save the day before your child is born and you can reload, iirc. I haven't tested it because I got lucky first try but that's what I've heard.

I ended up writing a little bit of some headcanons I had for my farmer's daughter Amelia, I'm gonna put it in a spoiler cause I tend to ramble on or write text walls X'D

I also headcanoned that she used to have a crush on Tatsumi but my friend Sama's farmer's daughter Kanna liked him too so when Kanna came to Amelia and told her about it Amelia didn't tell her she had feelings for him, eventually Kanna and Tatsumi came to Amelia and said they were dating so after they left Amelia broke down and Tigre comforted her. They ended up hanging out more often and Tigre eventually confessed to her, she realized she loved him more than she ever did Tatsumi so they began dating

I'm actually really excited right now because I feel like I'm well on my way to starting a family with Ford after being without a child for quite a while now (We got married on Winter 7 of Year 1 and it's almost Summer of Year 2 and my OC isn't pregnant). I have 4 out of the 10 Wool+ I need for the King Bed and I'm growing 8 plots of cotton (at 9 crops per plot, that works out to 72 cotton to ship on first harvest). That's almost the 100 I need to unlock flax which I need to grow in order to get the 30 Blue Flax Cloth for the King Bed.

I'm pretty sure flax is one of those crops that takes over a season to grow (might be wrong on that, will have to search it online) so I'm sure it'll be at least another season, if not two before I can get my OC pregnant but I still feel like it's within reach now, unlike a few days ago when I had no Wool+ and still hadn't even unlocked cotton in Tsuyukusa.

Anyone know if I have to ship the cotton to Tsuyukusa specifically in order to unlock the flax or does it not matter? I'd hate to waste a huge shipment of cotton by sending it to the wrong town.

According to the crop guide, flax only takes 8 days to grow with single watering and regular soil, and 4 days with soft soil and double watering. Once you get the seeds you should be fine!

My character is in the first month in her marriage to Yuzuki, so still have to wait some time to start a family. However, I already have the King Bed and she's never awake during the absurd time that his spouse event takes place. So I've been considering checking the times so I can aim their child's birth to occur the first week of Fall. That would make for the absurdity of the wedding anniversary being Fall 1, Kiri's birthday being Fall 4, Yuzuki's birthday being Fall 7, and their child's birthday in that same week. Week long celebrations!

You can totally ship them, lol. I know I used Kasumi for Ford's wife in my fics but feel free to use my OC if you want.

Haha it's tempting but I feel like I'm so close already that it'd be a bit of a cop-out to just get everything through trades at this point. All that effort to raise my sheep's Byproduct Level Rank and to unlock cotton and flax in Tsuyukusa would have been for nothing.

I finallyyyyy triggered the pregnancy event so Leigh and Ford get to be parents soon, yippee! I will definitely be intervening if it's not a girl. I have my heart set on a daughter.
