I remember reading somewhere (most likely on Talvikielo's blog) that Woofio actually came to Lulukoko because
Spoiler:
h heard about a Spirit living there and he hopes to find a clue for how to undo his curse by looking for Lulukoko's spirit.

Woofio himself says that he came from a green and lush village where many plants and animals live. His kid is not dark skinned either so I don't think he is a Lulukoko people.

It looks like there are two buildings there. Does anyone know what these are?
I'm only in fall year 1, so maybe they come later? My curiosity is killing me
My very first in-game day I spent a few minutes running from the bottom to the top trying to figure out how to access those buildings, lol.

You're supposed to disregard what I just said.

First, it's a guess. I only made that guess because you have an empty house in Westown, and an empty house in Lulukoko. We just so happen to know that Stephanie moves into Westown, and Woofio moves into Lulukoko, so that's where I based my guess on.

I completely forgot about that room on the left side of the inn.

I remembered that wikiwiki does have a page on each villager's schedule, so I took a look at that. Well, uh... just throw out my theory.

http://wikiwiki.jp/boku3sato/?%B9%D4%C6 ... 8%AB%C9%BD

Throw it into Google Translate if you can't read it. Essentially, Stephanie spends her time outdoors in Westown, or just outside in general. So apparently she doesn't "live" in Westown in that sense.

Woofio's schedule is completely missing! Probably something similar.

I guess they are empty houses.

Lame. I liked my theory better.
So they kind of live in a rabbit hole or bummer? XD
I think what Fishy is saying is that Stephanie doesn't *actually* live in Westown, but she comes there during the day to shop and stuff. Kinda like the farmer, actually. While Woofio lives in the left hut of the inn (whereas Lotus lives in the right hut). So Steph does live...like...in a hole in the ground and pops up during the day, while Woofio has a real home...
Spoilers for Woofio's backstory:
Spoiler:
Which makes me wonder... Was Woofio perhaps an islander before he was cursed? Only reason I can think of for him to move there. Perhaps he was even FROM Lulukoko?
Well, since Woofio states in his last love event that
Spoiler:
he can feel pain, love, feelings, and physical connection of intimacy, he realizes that he is transformed back to a human. Since the MC is human, and Woofio is now human, they can both procreate to produce an offspring. Judging by the fact that his kid has very bright blue hair, it definately fits the wacky colors of Lulukoko's candidates hair colors.

So, maybe he was once from Lulukoko? The main issue is that none of the villagers have a backstory explaining how a young boy one day went missing, never to return. My best headcanon guess is that his origin is from a similar atmosphere of Lulukoko, but not the town itself.
Spoiler:
Of course, the kid's eyes and hair are from his Frisbee cap and his suit eyes... But the colors of those could've taken on his natural colors, since that would have been easiest for the witch to set up. And if they did, then he has the same wacky colors of the islanders, only further cementing the connection.
Yeah, I didn't figure he was from Lulukoko, though that would have been cool... But I honestly think he was from some Polynesian/Hawaiian-style village similar to Lulukoko. His settling there makes no sense otherwise- after all, Westown and Tsuyukusa also have an abundance of wildlife, like foxes, tanuki, and eagles.
