Well, thanks for the nightmares I'm about to receive.........Getaris wrote:She hides in the shadows and waits for you to fall asleep.
Then she stares at you all night long.
Sometimes the main character wakes up at night, unable to move. All he can hear is static, all he can sense is the vague presence of a shadowy creature lurking in his peripheral vision. Glistening orbs, glaring just out of reach, surrounded by a floating blob of pitch black that he can't quite comprehend.
His mouth feels dry, he hasn't quite woken up, but he is definitely not dreaming anymore. The static gets worse. The blob grows in size. Darkness consumes a larger area of what little he can see from his bed, he can't move his head, but the shadow is definitely getting closer. The orbs become clear, they're milky white eyes, and they're fixated on him. He tries to scream, but it's useless, he can't even move his mouth.
After a few minutes of deafening static and an overwhelming of terror, a clear sound breaks the dreadful silence...

MM had the best random noises imo
Fun fact, when I was younger my friends and I used to go to the neighboring farm, get behind the horse and press A really fast a bunch of times because the horse would make like a pewpewpew sound and we called "playing star wars"

Which bachelorette was it?theboysareback wrote:Magical Melody was my first harvest moon game, so I was a lot less picky back then, but reflecting upon that game... I remember the hot blonde (name?) being the one I really wanted but I couldn't cook so I ended up settling. I settle a lot.
Spoiler:
The bottom girl was (depending on your region) Sarah/Gwen; she was more outgoing, loved horseback riding, and worked as a chef for her uncle's inn.

For me, it wasn't that I disliked characters with unnatural hair colors; it was the fact that I had an irrational hatred for the color pink when I was younger. So if Popuri had had, say, purple or green hair I probably wouldn't have cared and been perfectly fine with her.Terra575 wrote:I think it's interesting that unnatural colored hair is a dealbreaker for so many people, I never really thought about it. I guess because I always associate HM with anime, so I'm able to suspend my disbelief on that?

I usually go for characters with unnatural hair. I'm sporting a bright red hair color atm myself. I usually am grabbed by cuteness and can be a bit shallow but a bad personality is an absolute deal breaker. So are guys that use pet names in most cases. I can love someone's design and personality but be put off if they do the whole pet name thing.
