Xseed announced recently the first of their E3 lineup, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin. While they haven't gone too much into details yet, trailers show it's a side scrolling beat em' up mixed with running a rice farm.
PS4 and PC.

You want Light of Hope to look like a Japanese themed action game with rhythm based farming? Like, I get what you're saying, you want Nastume's new game to be more innovative, but it's a little weird to say something like this. Both Re:Legend and Sakuna are hybrid games made by two completely different indie companies. I don't see it very fair to have such unreal expectations for the new Natsume HM.
It already looks addicting! That rapid slicing sound is music to my ears.
It's interesting that the combat portion is done as a side-scroller, while the farming itself is done in a 3D area. At least, that's how it looks to me.
I gotta say, just the look of the nature and the sky around you is really pretty and atmospheric.

I'm not sure if I'll like this game yet or not. Looks cool but I want to learn more about it.
I'm not to keen on the side scrolling (unless it's like Donkey Kong lol) I like it more when I can move left, right, up, down, side to side
. I'll definitely give this a chance I just want to know more first.
Love the graphics. Plus the fighting/action looks awesome. (Are they using a scarf as a weapon?)
