There's a couple new events. For example, there's an event where all the same-« Chicken Hugging » marriage candidates gather at your house and gossip. There's one where you deliver presents to the village kids after a festival. There's three cultural exchange event between the three villages that's covered in Cher's guide, and there might be more that I don't remember off the top of my head.

You can marry inari without the DLC. The DLC only gives you a child. Inari doesn't move in regardless.ChaosAzerothCat wrote:Keep in mind that's old speculation from before they even knew if they were going to or not. It's not set in stone.
I've suspended mine because I'm going after Inari and there's no dating period so kinda have to if I want any of the DLC perks I planned to go after. Though I'm starting to second guess really if I want it or not as time goes on, the fact he can eat birthday dinner but no other time is really souring them for me...

Mmmk, thank you! It sounded (to me) like the OP thought maybe there were extra bachelor/ette-specific events?GemiMini wrote:There's a couple new events. I just read all the replies! Thank you all for helping me try to get to the bottom of this.
I was under the impression that the candidates do get extra events, I read it was of the opposite gender though so I was a bit wary that might mean it will get locked after marriage (otherwise both genders should be able to view the scenes?). Since the two I narrowed it to is Wayne and Hinata it seems I don't have to worry about missing any extra scenes with them since only Inari and Woofio get's them (and Stephanie of course).

I know, the lack of meals too is why I'm reconsidering. But you can't DATE Inari without it, you go straight to marriage.Shan O 123 wrote:You can marry inari without the DLC. ...I don't think you can date Inari regardless? Unless I'm misinterpreting your statement. But Inari will never be in dating stage with you. The only thing added is the child and their marriage outfit, but the outfit only shows up on anniversaries, not the actual wedding.ChaosAzerothCat wrote:I know, the lack of meals too is why I'm reconsidering. I swore I'd read you get dating for them with DLC.
Wow I have a lot of thinking to do about how I feel about continuing then... Not because the misunderstanding is their fault in any way mind you and I'm not blaming anyone but myself, but because I've ended up disappointed so many times with Inari and it's starting to wear me down with IRL too.
Thanks for the info, I guess that frees up some stuff. :3

Yeah you can't date them regardless. Sorry if you're disappointed. The kid is cute though.ChaosAzerothCat wrote:Are you serious?GemiMini wrote:...I don't think you can date Inari regardless? I was kinda excited about the kid but not as much as the dating.
Do you get birthday dinner without DLC or nah?
Birthday dinners? I thought you get those events normally with them anyways without DLC... Maybe I'm wrong, who knows.ChaosAzerothCat wrote:Not your fault.Shan O 123 wrote:Yeah you can't date them regardless. Sorry if you're disappointed. it isn't. i scoured the japanese wiki before posting earlier, and while it's certainly not the END ALL most of the dialogue is recorded on there, along with what update it was included in.princesszelda wrote:Where did you read that there are new events? I thought that they just had a bunch of extra dialogue. In which case you still might miss out, say if some of the dialogue is heart-level specific.
the extra dialogue is in things like when they talk about their work, things they like, flavor dialogue about the towns, stuff about some other villagers that wasnt there before, etc. it doesn't look like there's anything tied to heart levels, aside from the post-marriage ___ days married.
that's just the day to day dialogue tho, doesn't include the extra festival stuff and if their dialogue varies there.
