Yuzuki and Ludus dating/marriage

I'm so indecisive!

I know people can't tell me who to marry, and I also know neither Yuzuki or Ludus would be a bad choice. But it's just so sad because whoever I don't pick I'll never get to have anymore new dialogue with. Ludus will forever tell me how shocked he is I don't have the personality of Iluka. Which, also, I really don't like how this game caps everyone except your partner at 5 hearts! All the bachelors are so nice, but it's super fast raising their friendship. Now it's just like.... well... no point talking to you anymore, which is just sad.

I went into the game thinking I'd marry Ludus because he's cute and I like the big bro trope (tho maybe he takes it a little far lol), but Yuzuki is such a sweetheart. I think he's adorable, all of his heart events were really nice and the childhood illness thing doesn't define him like I was scared it would. (Though honestly I would totally marry Kasumi if I could... why is she only marriageable by men anyway? Maybe someday hm will let me have a wife as a woman.)

For those of you who have dated/married them, how have you liked it? How does their dialogue compare? Do either of them have any iffy possessive/controlling/mean-spirited dialogue that I should be wary of? (that seems out of character for them both, but just for reference)

I know neither is a bad choice but... they're both so nice??? I'm not going to have the patience to play this game twice. Why can't I date everyone like in stardew valley?

I've heard that Yuzuki can have some yandere-ish/possessive dialogue, but nothing too serious. My MC only dated Ludus for a little while (I started a new file because I unlocked the Miracle trait and Lisette deserves love!!) but I personally struggled to see him as more than just a platonic big brother figure during that short time. There's just something about his character that I find really dull and unromantic. I plan on going for Yuzuki if/when I start a new file, myself.

From what I heard, Yuzuki has a dark side. Don't ask me how because I didn't marry him.

Yuzuki has a few lines that could be considered possessive but it's not to the yandere extreme in my opinion. He's not controlling at all but will get easily depressed if you don't talk to him. I would say it's more of a grey side rather than full on dark side. Most of his lines are complimenting the MC and showing affection.

From what I read, you find more about Ludus' personality from the twins, Tototara, and Yuzuki than from Ludus himself. Which is weird.

Hahaha. I personally love Ludus. I'm married to him and I have no complaints. I never cared much for Yuzuki, I found that his illness featured too prominently in his story. OK, he was sickly. If he's better now, why on earth are we still talking about it over and over again?! I would have liked Yuzuki a million times better had they not given him that back story.

I was stuck between both of them like you were so I saw all of their events up until you needed to date to see more to help me decide. Eventually went with Ludus because I found his events more romantic and I have a soft spot for dorks. I do like Yuzuki still, but his events were just kind of boring to me. I'm sure once you start dating the events are more romantic-like, but when it was a toss up between the two of them, I personally went with Ludus. I find his festival and post-marriage lines very sweet and I don't regret marrying him at all. A lot of people complain that he's boring but I don't really think so for a couple of personal reasons.

I don't find him boring at all, either. I get how some people could see him as being more of the "big brother" rather than a romantic partner, but boring? Nah.

Thanks all! I feel like judging a hm character because they're boring or one-note is kinda not productive. I mean they're all basically tropes I don't play this game for deep characters hahaha and I'm not expecting any of them to have interesting character development or a multifaceted personality.
Sappy dialogue and a few cute cutscenes is all I need and expect. And I know they both would deliver. I liked both their events a lot and thought they were really cute. All I ask is that my spouse isn't a total jerk to me and lets me do my own thing. Give me the same sappy morning dialogue, inane talk about the weather, ect. I'm not hard to please.

That said, I think I am leaning towards Yuzuki. I was little like...okay//?... when Ludus got all concerned about a "lady" going into his room. Like dude, we're adults. Chill. I'm watching you build a flipping chair. Plus, Yuzuki seems to be just as buff as Ludus so I'm not losing out on anything there.

Still, it makes me really sad I won't be able to see much more new dialogue from Ludus since I like him so much. And I really wanted to propose with the blue feather. So I'm still a little torn.
