I've seen people mention being able to access their storage from shops in this game. How do you do that?

I'm not sure what you mean. It should just happen. If you have the materials put up it should be counting in your ability to make things.

....Are you talking about from the shipping box? It should be the X(?) button.

You might be interchanging Relacion with other shops? (Specifically the Seamstress parts)
You probably already know that when building a Farm Circle, it takes your entire inventory into account when noting the supplies needed; Whereas with the seamstresses, it only considers what is currently in your bag. Which is dumb, in my opinion and why I have almost entirely given up on completing the wardrobe. If I'm wrong however and you're talking about something else, ignore me!

Ooohhhh I think I get it now!
When I saw people mentioning being able to access the storage from the store, I thought they meant they could actually go into their storage and take stuff out from. The store.
Now I see what you guys mean.

Well, I know you can directly access the storage from shipping. Then similar to your store in SOS, you can send items into storage from clicking "retrieve items from box" (or whatever it was).

So let's say you harvested 10 tomatoes from the south field, and they're in your bag. Let's also say that you have a crafted farm circle storage box placed down there. Instead of taking 20-30 seconds to run back up to your house for the storage, you can first put the tomatoes in the shipping box, then go to retrieve items from the box. When you pick what you want to take out, you can either put it back in your bag, or send the items directly to storage. Same thing with retrieving items from storage/silo; press 'X' when shipping for storage/silo stuff, then when retrieving the shipping box items, just be aware of sending them to your bag instead of sending them back to the storage box. It's kind of a long and slow process, but I do this trick if I'm lazy, or like the scenario with your storage being a long run away.

Uh... so you can actually make storage boxes outside? LOL I'm in year 4 and I've never known of it before.

I've never needed to have the materials in my bag for Relacion tailoring. Or any other tailoring. Just in my storage box. It's actually quite nice.
