Explore Lulukoko, Tsukuyusa, and Westown in this multi-cultural farming game for Nintendo 3DS. [ Game Guide ] JP release = Jun 2016. NA release = Feb 2017. EU release = Oct 2017.
For bachelors, I'd say Wayne and Ford are the easiest to woo at first because they're available near the start of the game.
For Ford, you can just give him mint as a gift and that boosted my friendship with him pretty quickly. West Town also sells mint too but I forgot if they were available in stores in the beginning or not.
For Wayne, I just started giving him some wild flowers I found in the wild which helps boost the relationship pretty quick.

Well to be fair I do not mind WHEN they come, but more like the gifts
I'm thinking about SoS's Klaus or Angelia for instance, who loved that fish stew and all the veggies and tea herbs so they were easy to woo (I dunno who was like that in A New Beginning )

It's Neil in ANB, just give him treats from his shop, he already satisfied
I thought Ford was because you can find some of his heavily liked gifts on the ground like Aloe, Mint, etc.
I didn't really have a difficult time wooing anyone to be honest and maxed all the flowers to whatever color they could before doing a reverse confession.
I married Ford, and am happy with him thusfar. Though, I've lost so much interest in the game that I haven't been playing much and that's just because I played it so long and hard in the beginning that I'm taking a break. I usually pick things back up later and I am waiting for the DLC to be released.
I would suggest taking your time and meeting everyone and at least seeing everyone first few friend and love events before choosing. I kind of had my heart set on Ford, but I really liked Ludus and Yuzuki, so it was tough in the end to stick to my original plan.
I would also vouch for Ford and Wayne being that they're there from the beginning of the game and any festival wins/participation will contribute to their FP and AP. Also Wayne's special +1000 gift is very easy to make.
Between 12-14:00-ish on Wednesday (I think), a storyteller in a red suit will show up next to Inari's shrine in Tsuyukusa. If you save before listening to the story, you might get Yuzuki's +1000 FP gift of Yomogi Dumplings for free. If not you can reload until you do (pressing "X" during the story will speed up the text.) He likes things wrapped up in the green wrapping paper (or wrapping cloth, really) from Ra Man's.
This is great, since one of the ingredients for the dish (mugwort) is a wild item only found in Spring in Tsuyukusa, and you're guaranteed NOT to get any in your first year. And you might want to grow Adzuki Beans, anyway, because the Anpan Sweet Rolls recipe is useful for the time-slowing effect (also a +500 gift for Yuzuki.)
All of the bachelorettes have a few easy loved gifts.
Lisette: Hydrangea (picked from Tsuyukusa in summer), Ocean Primrose (picked from Lulukoko) and Mimosa salad (you only need an egg and a field crop).
Iluka: Beach Vitex (picked from Lulukoko), and all tea leaves/tea.
Siluka: All fruit
Komari: Processed rice (bought from the shop).
Kasumi: Green tea/matcha (made from any tea leaves).
