For a new game +, I know you have to compete the farming tips and raise town ranks. Now do you have to get the towns to rank A or S?

I got the towns to rank A when I got it, in fact have not gotten S rank yet tbh.

Yup, once every town is at A rank, you're good to go! Which is nice because Westown's S rank lock is irritating. Stupid jam maker.
