Married to Ford question

So for whoever married to Ford, what happen during the pregnancy? As I know babies are delivered by Dr. Ford but if Ford himself, the father deliver the baby?

I just had this scene with Ford. Putting it in spoilers in case no one wants it spoiled for them.

He actually helps deliver his own baby. I thought that was kind cool considering how the other husbands aren't in the delivery room with you. I wonder if it's a Japanese culture thing or what? But I haven't married any of the other guys in this game so maybe they are in it with you. I have no idea. I am just thinking of past games in the series.

For other hubbys, they wait in Ford's waiting area until the baby cries. That's the closest they get to delivery. Given that Ford's the only doctor, him delivering his own child is the proper thing to have happen.

I was surprised they had him deliver the kid, given that in past games the doctor husband would usually be a bystander, but I guess since he doesn't have a nurse or a midwife or just any other female helper around the devs kind of had to have him do it.

It also probably helps that the clinic has the divider set up to block the camera's view, whereas in say, MFoMT, the house birth doesn't provide a lot of opportunity to "censor" it.
