AP for post-breakup confession

Hello! I'd like to break up and then confess to a bachelorette in order to trigger as much dialogue as I can. However, I was wondering whether the (90 if I remember correctly) AP needed for a second confession take into account the original AP. As in, if I trigger a Reverse Confession I must have 60 AP. Once I break up with them, is the 60 AP kept or does it go down to 0? I.E. do I have to raise all 90 AP from the ground up for the second confession or do I keep the AP that I had pre-break up?

I believe only FP drops when you break up. Their AP should remain the same; you'll just need to make up the extra 30 points over the course of the month that you need to wait.
