How Long is Your Day?

I've noticed that lately, I can only get through a couple in game days because of how long it takes me in real time, to play through a single day. It takes me about an hour per in game day. So I was wondering, how long does it take you to play through a day in the game?

I use the speed boost and slow time buffs, but I'm thinking whats really making my days longer is the fact i keep looking in my menu and crafting things to collect all those darn clothes..

Anyways, I was just curious how slow your days have gotten as you all progress through the game :)

It varies... I always find myself rushing to get from village to village to village... My days don't take that long when it comes to out of game (real day) time since in game it feels like everything is rushed.

I would really love to take the time to enjoy longer days, getting more done with different activities... I.E. Socializing, Fishing(Or foraging, exploring, etc...?), giving gifts, doing part time jobs without running out of time when I'm playing a day. I find a day usually takes about 15 minutes in "real life" time. It goes too quickly!

How would you suggest slowing my day down and being able to enjoy it? It seems we have opposite problems, heh... ^^;;

But to answer topic question: Not long enough.

well im in year 3, and have max hearts with everyone so i don't really need to talk to anyone anymore. i use food buffs (the slow down time and boost speed) constantly so that doubles a days length. do you talk to every villager with the A button, or do you just quick greet with the L trigger? if i do talk to villagers, i always L trigger as i run by. that cuts down on time used too i suppose.

so i guess the biggest tip is just food buffs. i find i get all my work done well before 9 am and then i have the entire day to sit through waiting for the time to roll around to water my crops again. so in this spare time i make materials, fish, part time jobs, whatever i feel like for the day. they just take so long haha XD

15 minutes at most. I only tend to my animals once every 7 days lol.

wow wait what?! you can do that without them getting stressed out? what about your animal produce? aren't you missing out on milk and eggs? I'm highly curious of your playstyle, lol.

^sharp is so edgy lol.

For me, it depends but maybe 10 mins? I usually eat fast-time food so I can get to 16:00ish and rewater plants. If I'm speeding through days then it only takes 2 mins since I just take care of my animals and go to sleep.

haha, all my animals are maxed out on every trait.

I do milk my cows daily and clip any fur off the other animals if I see any available (they're all grazing outside their barns in the morning so i don't have to go in). I just prefer to lump all the brushing and feeding into a single session for convenience!

The animals do get stressed midway through but from my experience 7 days isn't long enough to get them sick.

(man I probably sound like a terrible psychotic farm owner)

I do the same with my animals. it's nice for chickens because they just keep laying eggs anyway!

I'm in Year 4 on my main file and I've done most things so my days tend to be pretty quick, about 20 mins IRL.

On my NG+ file, I'm only in Summer of Year 1 so I'm still playing close to an hour per day. Maybe more like 45 minutes this time around as I don't feel the need to do everything (befriending the wild animals, for instance).

Just set a stopwatch and played a day normally as I would with all my chores, and it was about 50 minutes total, 48:20 to be exact. I wouldn't say that I spend most of my time in a menu, just running through the three towns doing chores, fishing, or feeding animals.

I feel like I spend majority of my time in my storage menu -___-

I think I spend around 30-40 mins. I don't think I spend too much time in the menus... I'm only in Y2 and there's sooo much to do haha my day usually ends between 21:00-23:00

Been upgrading your storage as you go? I found once I hit the 500-inventory-spots, I didn't have to worry about cleaning up my storage more than once a season.

I find it usually takes around 35-45 mins for an in-game day for me, currently, although summer Y2 was longer (lots of fertilizing for all those crops). My animals probably take up the majority of time to take care of, even though I've only got one of each species. Once I got the 3x3 max-efficiency watering can, I found that cut down a lot on the field chores, and now that I'm topping out on fertilizer stats for the trees, that's taking less time, too.

I have no idea how long it takes me in real time but I usually go to bed at 10 or 11pm in the game.

I usually end my days around 20.00 and it takes me about thirty minutes on average to complete each day.
