The previous Light of Hope is long gone past the 10 day rule, so here's a new thread. CeeCee has been teasing that there will be more info in August, so here we are.

So far, the game looks a mix of SoM and Skytree.

Thanks for the video. Did anyone else noticed that they used the winter theme for Story of Seasons in the Light of Hope video? I'm assuming the person who made the video just picked a sound clip to play with it, but I thought it was pretty funny. (like lol, wrong series there bud)

Animation looks so bad...it's like they don't even care. And that's a bad look when they will be competing against Stardew Valley and SOS. Natsume needs to stop being cheap and give these titles a decent budget.

Though I kinda expect it to be pretty much the same thing we saw during e3.

Also, sites use Bokumono material (music, art, etc) all the time when talking about natsume's games, it's not rare.

Auuuu, weak! The video didn't load or work at all for me either. But yeah, I'll just assume that it looks like a carbon copy of Natsume's last two games combined together. I'm gonna hope that the gameplay turns out good, because otherwise it may be known as Light of Nope by certain fans. I still might give it a shot though.

Yeah I'm not really interested. The character just looks like it's walking on air, and they could put more effort in the scenery or something. :/ Like come on.

For those curious, the gameplay looked liked a slightly upped version of Seed of Memories with talking to villagers looking like Skytree Village. The Male MC talked to Rowan and then ran outside, interacting with a few things before fading to black.

I guess Natsume really doesn't want this game being shown off in it's early state.

Considering the other 2 videos that surfaced plainly had "No Filming or Photos" signs on them, not shocking. Might be why the video had so many random cuts in it too.

To be honest, as a person who enjoyed SoM, it already looks greatly improved from that. Yeah, the animation could be touched up a bit, something about it looks ethereal.

Was this game coming for PC too? I don't have a switch yet, but recently got a good windows tablet/laptop that could use some harvest moon. Stardew Valley is great, but it isn't exactly easy to play in tablet mode.

I can't remember if it was announced for pc too.

PC, PS4 and Switch if I remember right.

Anyway, it doesn't look appealing to me. I'll wait for more on it, but it seems like it's just SoM with updated graphics and the Skytree Village villagers to me.

I wonder when will we get an actual first look. Hopefully they'll improve upon the "very early version" (as ceecee calls it) they showed at e3.
