Child's birthday question

Is it possible for your kid to be born on a festival? Counting the 45 days that the pregnancy is supposed to last, my kid is set to be born on new years, which I obviously don't want.
Will it's birth happen the day after, or will it still be born on new years regardless?

No, I'm pretty sure it gets born the free next day. I don't think you can have two events in one day. However, it is possible to have your child born on a typhoon.

The game won't let you have your kid on a festival. However, it will let them share a birthday it seems.

My kid was born on Valentine's day. Im pretty sure I can still see the event with my husband and my childs birthday dinner
