Should the Switch games have their own subforums?

SNES, HM64, BTN, STH, A Wonderful Life, Another Wonderful Life, AWL:SE, Magical Melody, Puzzle de HM, Tree of Tranquility, Animal Parade, Frantic Farming, Hero of Leaf Valley, My Little Shop, Seeds of Memories, Lil' Farmers, Light of Hope, Popolocrois: SoS, Doraemon: SoS, and Piczle Cross: SoS.

What do you think?

I never understood why only the handheld games have subforums. Until the DS, consoles were the more popular way to play HM yet it always seemed like (SNES aside) Fogu always shafted the console games.

I'd rather see it not get its own section as the Switch is more of a console you can play on the go then the other way around.

This site was always focused on the handheld games.

I think the mini guides they have about the console games were provided by some other site that had to close down, if I remember correctly.

Fogu only covered the handheld games because 15+ years ago there were a LOT of Harvest Moon fan sites that covered the console games. Nobody did the handhelds. It wasn't "shafted," as the console content was greatly covered by other websites. Fogu covered the less popular handheld games to fill in the gap.

Not my fault that all of the other fan sites closed down *shrug* I own many of the old abandoned fan site domains though, to ensure they aren't abused or pointed to questionable websites.

Yes, HM Otaku closed down in 2008 and sent me their game data so it wouldn't be lost forever. A couple of years later a few of the old admins wanted to revive the site, so I sent their data back. Popularity didn't pick back up though and the website appears to be abandoned this time instead of shut down.

Nintendo seems to want to swap out the 3DS with the Switch, so the upcoming SoS and HM games on Switch could fit fine as their own sub forums.

Oh wow! I didn't know this, but it makes so much sense now! I always wondered why the console sections had such limited info in them (except for Animal Parade \o.o/). Do you think you will ever expand those sections now that the other sites are dead-ish? Just curious! ^-^ Thank you for all you do!

I only ever noticed Ranch Story and HMFarm years ago. Fogu was always the more informative of the three iirc. The SNES section is pretty spiffed up but the sections for more popular games like AWL and MM were always petty outdated and minor. It wasn't until games like ToT and AP that it changed
