Has anyone seen this? Trio bachelors having a conversation.

That's the "tea-party" event we'll be getting with the DLC. Is that what you mean when you say you're curious about it? That's the boy version...it's kind of like the slumber party in RF4 in that it can happen repeatedly, as long as enough time has passed in between. I THINK there can be different versions, almost definitely different at least depending on whether you are single, dating or married, but I'm not sure about if it can be different other than that.

I think there's going to be a girl version too, assuming that the event depends on your gender(never mind on this thought). Looks like we'd be seeing DLC content soon.

Yeah, there is :D I haven't heard anything from XSEED yet on how soon they'll be getting it out but it doesn't look like it'll make it out in summer 2017, anyway, since we've only got about a week left of that. I hope soon. I don't have a lot to play right now that I'm particularly interested in, and nothing coming up until Dec 1, and I'm not even sure if I'm going to like this Xenoblade, so it may be next year before I can pick up anything I can really get into. So I'm fairly eager for the DLC. I just love the events, they all look really fun.

Welp, now to decide to save my second copy of Trio for DLC or not. I just want the events.

When you said that, I thought "of course all we want is the events, that's all the DLC IS"...

But then I remembered that it actually enables you to have a kid with Inari. Oh and introduces Stephanie and Woofio as candidates. That might be the real 'point', overall, but honestly I have only been thinking about the events, lol.

Just a word of warning about the DLC and having multiple copies if you also have more than one 3DS (like I have an original 3DS XL and an N3DS XL), Calros said this:

In other words, in MY case, if I play my digital version and my physical copy on the SAME 3DS, I'm fine. But if I want to play on different 3Dses in order to transfer stuff from an old file to a new one, for example, I'd have to buy the DLC for BOTH 3DSes. Maybe that's a 'duh' for some people, but I hadn't thought of it. So I may end up buying the DLC twice, lol.

I only have one 3DS personally, but that is a good thing to know for future purposes. And my wallet.

I wonder how much this DLC is going to cost? Hopefully not too much.

I didn't actually hear how it would be split...I don't think it was mentioned? (They were originally 4 DLC...I'm not sure how XSEED is lumping them.) There will be a free patch, so that is definitely separate, but it's not really DLC, so I'm not sure if you'd be counting that one.

They said at one point (REALLY early, before they even decided to do it) that they'd lump the smallest one in with another, thinking then that there would be 3 and I believe the price they were guessing for each of three was...3.99 USD, I think, which would make it $12 for everything if you wanted all of it. I'll have to go back and check that post again to be sure, though.

That was months ago now, though...they may have gone a different route in the meanwhile. I haven't heard anything about it, specifically, since that initial post.

I've been wondering if the wait has been so long because they're decided to do it as a one time deal and not in separate packs. I'm assuming the price would be $12-15? Maybe $20 for the whole set at most, if they do it as a whole package and not in parts.

Either way, I do think seeing translated screenshots from the tea party event means we're getting closer to an announcement. My personal guess would be before Christmas, but I will be the first to point out I have no idea how these things work.

Sure hope not, can't afford that and don't want most of it, only want one part myself so if this happens not only am I SOL I'm not really interested in being made to get DLC I don't want.

Shan, XSEED has now published a few female-version 'tea party' event shots. (I don't know what this event is really called but it's been referred to as 'tea party' by a bunch of people since the Japanese release and now it's stuck in my head. I bet they're not even drinking tea...)

It looks like they're drinking tea from each town.

Lisette looks like she's drinking a milkshake , to me. Siluka has a very tall white glass topped with more white...can't begin to tell what that is. The MC and Kasumi definitely look like they're having tea, but I'm not sure about any of the others...though 3DS images are so small, it's pretty hard to make out. Maybe we'll never know, unless they chat about their drinks in the event. I'm curious about that white drink, though...I don't remember making anything in the game that looked like that. Not that it matters, lol...but it looks so strange, I can't help but wonder. Maybe it's one of the dessert-like drinks the girls make at Carosello. (Can't remember if it's called 'Carousel' in English or not.)

Now I need to go back into my game and into the drinks menu to see if I can spot anything that looks like that.

EDIT: Couldn't resist. Went to try to figure it out. Can't be sure, but my best guesses are...

MC: Earl Grey
Komari: Green Plum Tea
Kasumi: Matcha
Lisette: Ginger Ale
Iluka: Chai Tea
Siluka: Lychee Juice

I don't know why I spent ten minutes on that, lol, but there you have it...my best guesses as to the identity of 6 tiny clusters of pixels. That would make it so that each girl is having a drink from her town, too, if you count the MC's town as Westown.
