Natsume is doing an ask questions thing on Light of Hope from the producer. You can ask questions on their Facebook, ask them directly on Twitter with their handle @Natsume_Inc with the #HarvestMoon, or email at ceecee@natsume.com. I asked on their FaceBook what the story is. I have a feeling it's rebuilding the town based on their previous video, but I want to be certain.

I asked if the windows edition will be completely functional with only a touch screen. Which is kind of super important for me specifically.

I avoid my email address like the plague since I only have them for sites and yet somehow get a ton of « Puppy Doodoo » plus a ton of my text based conversation things for some reason...

So no I don't use email as I tent to be nervous even going into it and at this point it kinda... embarrassingly enough freaks me out a bit.

I'm still a little ... ehh.... I dunno. On one hand I'm excited for the series to be on PC but on the other.... it's Natsume's. I've skipped the last couple Natsume games in favor of SoS but I'm also getting tired of the 3DS.

At least since it's coming to Steam it might go on sale, that's probably the only way I'll get it. I bought Seeds of Memories because I had Google Play credit from surveys.

Oh, I never noticed that the crop image bubbles might be a different style if a mutation is present. What a nifty little design feature! This game keeps getting better and better. Honestly, I was a little disappointed when I saw the first trailer and screenshots at E3, but I'm starting to feel more confident with this game's potential now.

I just had the weirdest idea. What if in future Harvest Moon games, Natsume implemented mutated animals? Now that would certainly make for a unique experience... like a chicken that lays golden chocolate eggs or something.

I need mutant zombie cows in my life.

What I really want though is goats. I have an extreme love for goats, and I want an excuse to demand a goat preorder plush. xD

More diverse/invested animal husbandry would do whoever implemented it many favors IHMO.

Animal breeding hasn't been as interesting in SoS since they never picked up genetics again. At least Natsume does some genetics sort of thing with the traits and passing with breeding.

I enjoyed AWL's whole parent type thing tbh.

Can you imagine mutation only coat patterns/colors though?

Hmm... I'm really noticing that the sprites look... odd? Like they really stand out on the background. I was noticing a lot as the MC was turning. Anyone else find that weird looking?

Yup, we don't really know for sure but it could be 3D models on top of a 2D background.

It could also be hd 2D renders.

But anyway, the main characters seem to have their "center of gravity" in their waists instead of their feet, so it looks like they're floating a bit.

Huh I totally didn't notice the center of gravity thing, but now that you mention it they do float a bit. So strange. They just look like they don't belong and aren't actually interacting with the environment.
