I am working my way through the series from the beginning and I am back to my first HM game. HM64!
I always debate this for myself, so I was curious what you guys consider to be a 'perfect' game. For me it is a full photo album and the best ending. Truthfully I have never achieved this, but I think I will give it another try.
I want to marry Maria, and I am not against using 'cheats'. I'll use the dog trick for Karen to get her taken care of and the horse/dog race glitch to save my money. I am currently undecided about whether I will use the music box or glitch or not. Elli and Maria are the hardest to get the photos 1st year since you have the least time.
What do you guys consider a perfect game? Do you think it doesn't count as perfect if you use exploits?
I'd say it still counts as perfect if you use exploits. I mean, as long as you're meeting the criteria and finishing the objectives required for a perfect run, it doesn't really matter how you get there.
It does matter how you get there if you're a speedrunner, hence why Glitchless categories exist (although it depends on the game), but I'm just going to assume you're not speedrunning and that you're not going to have to worry about speedrun.com rejecting your run and casting a curse on your family or something.

Lol nope! Def not speed running! The only game I speedrun is Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time because I have played it like 20 times lol
