huh... Well! I will be playing again, so I will see I suppose! I will ignore the other 2 and only woo 1 of them. Now to decide between Muffy and Celia... >.>Anna_Lynn wrote:Huh, that's weird. Anyone ever noticed this about AWL?

I'm about 80% sure Nami is supposed to leave no matter what if you don't marry her (that is what I've always heard and what the internet keeps on saying.) However you can get her to come back permanently (I think,) by watching an event called Nami Retunes, which can be activated in chapter two.Anna_Lynn wrote:Huh, that's weird. In AWL, if you don't marry Nami, she will leave at the end of the Chapter 1. If you want to get her back early, there is a cutscene you can get in Chapter 2 mentioned above. If you don't trigger that cutscene, she will make a silent return in Chapter 3 and stay in the Valley henceforth. Of course if you're playing AnWL, she will never leave.
As for changes in unwed bachelorettes, most of it is quite subtle. Their dialogue is pretty polite throughout the game (unless you betrayed them with the promise of marriage. Then they say they don't want to see your face). I haven't noticed that many changes to their schedules other than Muffy. When I married Nami, I found that Muffy would visit the beach A LOT and do a lot of sighing animations at the ocean. May have been coincidental though
Celia turns bitter and takes it out on Marlin in the "Women change over time" cutscene in chapter 5.
Nami's feelings surface up in the Chapter 2 "Nami Returns" cutscene. If you say that YOU are glad that she is back (as opposed to saying EVERYONE is glad that she is back) Nami will look at you with a sad expression and then walk away.
Muffy has a lot of cutscenes in the girl version showcasing her trouble to find a serious relationship. She gets older and realizes its too late for her to have a family. She gets some feelings for Griffin in AnWL but in the boy version, AWL, Griffin tries to keep the relationship strictly father-daughter-like.

Huh, interesting. I didn't know that she just comes back anyway, kind of makes me wonder why the Nami's Return event even exists when they could've simply had her returning be in a cutscene at the end of chapter two. I guess it's for the people who want her back as soon as possible.FaerieFarm wrote:In AWL, if you don't marry Nami, she will leave at the end of the Chapter 1. I'm pretty sure you get a scene where they come to your house and chew you out, I don't know why there wouldn't beEhppy wrote:Curious, does any of this stuff happen with the bachelors when playing A(n)WL?
Like, do Gustafa, Marling and Rock have similar events/behaviours if you break their hearts? It's been a long time since I last played and honestly can't remember if I noticed anything weird after marrying.

They do change almost every other fundamental thing though. The game is shorter and the crops are nerfed odd the top of my head. Except the gen3 the looks like an eggplant for some reason. So while they did probably leave it the same, it's not like it's not possible given all the changes they made?white66 wrote:I'm pretty sure you get a scene where they come to your house and chew you out, I don't know why there wouldn't beEhppy wrote:Curious, does any of this stuff happen with the bachelors when playing A(n)WL?

No. I've saved the game and then tried it. There is no such scene in AnWL.Ehppy wrote:Curious, does any of this stuff happen with the bachelors when playing A(n)WL?
