I'm surprised there aren't more cowboys/cowgirls in HM

Wayne dresses rather cowboy-ish. There's quite a few. I don't really think of cowboys when I think of farming though since I live around a bunch of real farms with zero cowboys.

But not to mention, cowboys come from a very arid and dusty environment, and usually are more fitted to be ranchers or at most, rather selected crop farming capabilities. And about half of the average bokumono or hm game revolves around crop tending.

Yeah, pretty much. Not all of the characters in Westown fit entirely, but the town itself is very cowboy. Even the name is. There's cacti and everything.
