I love how AWL looks too. I could spend hours just watching that game.
Though I do find it a bit funny how the trees above Romanas mansion just follow your movement without any attempt to hide they're fake.

Shhhhh..!
They'll hear you
Jokes aside, the aesthetic of AWL does a lot for the atmosphere, I think. It may not be the best looking game on the gamecube, but there was clearly a lot of understanding between the writers and the artists

From nostalgia glasses AWL is the best, but without it I will get mad over everything glitchy on AWL
AP is the best, I love how aesthetic the town, recently the newer game 3ds landscape is too "flat" even though I love how everything have become colorful (glare at neon colored grass ANB)

AWL for best atmosphere (I love the area near the goddess spring!) and AP for best graphics overall.
I think story of seasons had the best portraits, they look gorgeous.

predictable answer over here but it's a tie between anwl and ap.
anwl because it's so nostalgic for me, it has a unique atmosphere, and cuz idk i just really enjoy gamecube graphics in general (.....we don't talk about magical melody.). ap because i'm in « Snuggly Bunny » LOVE with the dreamy feel the general color palette gives the game, the building designs, and the adorably blobby little animals.
