The release date is not that far away and I am totally hyped! Anyone else keeping tabs on it? I got a copy preordered too!

I have it and the three wedding amiibos preordered. RIP wallet.

It's funny, i've really never been much of a Mario fan. I played 64 when I was little (and the DS remake) but not much else besides the odd spinoff here and there (Super Princess Peach, Fortune Street, ect). But as I was playing Breath of the Wild and got close to finishing it, I suddenly had this urge to play Super Mario Odyssey. My close friend is the same and we think it has something to do with how BoTW set a high bar and SMO looks like it's right up there with it, thus us wanting it despite not being into the previous games.

As for the amiibos, they're in freaking wedding attire and that's adorable. Not sure if i'll take them out of their package or not. The only other amiibos I have are a Yarn Yoshi and a bunch of the AC cards.

I have also never really been a Mario fan. I want to get it because my friend who can't afford a switch really wants to play it.


I might get it for Christmas. It looks fun.

I wasn’t too big on 3D World, but this game looks like it’s getting back to how good Galaxy 1 and 2 were and I adored those games.

I’m so broke right now that I can’t pre-order, however on Friday I get paid so I plan to pre-order it then. I don’t have a switch but I still want to get the game before hand >< might get a switch on or after Christmas so why not have a game ready for it lol.

I have it preordered and I'm going to get the wedding amiibos as soon as I get to work that day (I work at Target), so I'm hoping to score them without preordering them.

I completely forgot about the wedding amiibos.

I have the Bowser amiibo pre-ordered.
I wanted to get the 3 pack but they ran out of pre-orders so Bowser is enough for me<3

I managed to preorder all 3 through GameStop just now. It isn't the 3 pack, but I'm glad they were all up.

Now if only I could get Tiki and Chrom for Fire Emblem Warriors, but that's for a different topic.

I wish I didn’t download “Jump up! Super Star” because now I can’t stop listening to it It just makes me so happy.

I have just legit given up on getting the Fire Emblem Amiibos. I had a wonky Marth for awhile and I looked into trying to get a full set and saw that the money was just too much. The fans are crazy and everything sells out within seconds most times.

But side note excited for Fire Emblem Warriors, yaayyy. It's gonna keep me sane until SMO.

I'm pretty excited for it. I absolutely loved Super Mario Galaxy and this will hopefully be just as epic.

Be careful on the Internet in these last few days. People are already spoiling the game.

Stay off Twitter and if you've watched any SMO anything on YT, clear your history. Nintendo is actively taking down spoiler videos with spoiler thumbnails, but it's best to play it safe. You might get something in your recommendations that will spoil something.

The Nintendo Switch Reddit is safe as the mods are working overtime to prevent anything else leaking through. There is a spoilers megathread there and nothing can go outside it atm.

Also, just gtfo tumblr because people still don't understand how to tag so you can't even block things on your dash if you wanted to.
