Happy Lamp fail?

I planted a few different 2nd gen hybrids mixed with Happy Lamps in the super field. The season rolled over and some types died, others are just fine. Has anyone else experienced this? Does the Happy Lamp thing sometimes just fail?

I couldn't even figure out what that did, to be honest. I know you can put crops with certain flowers but I never did figure out the difference it made.

The only flower I actually used at all is the one that levels up the quality of the crop

Happy Lamps allows crops to grow in any SINGLE season. No rollovers allowed. The wording is incredibly vague in the game. I had to learn the hard way.

You already could plant Turnips in Winter. But yeah, pretending you can't, that's how that'd work.
