Kinda sad they'll only be talking about the mobile game tomorrow, but I'm also just really glad they were upfront announcing that the mobile game is the only thing they're talking about. I have a bad tendency to get my hopes up for certain things.
I don't actually have a smartphone so I'm kinda sad but I'm interested to see what they do with the game.
And also hoping they are working on something for 3DS or Switch in the background.

I have no interest in mobile games. (I don't even own a cell phone and I dislike playing on tablet most of the time.) But...
I'll definitely watch this. I remember Nintendo saying that they want the mobile game to draw more people into the core games. I believe they also said that they would...work together, somehow? Somehow the mobile version and the console version would tie in. And I feel like watching it may give me some hints about new stuff that'll appear in the console game, whenever we get that. (No idea if that's actually going to be soon or not, though.) So yeah, probably won't get the mobile game unless it really does connect to the 'real' game in a significant way, but definitely interested to learn what it's all about.
EDIT: Unless they intend for this mobile game to connect to NEW LEAF, of course. Should have thought of that. If that's the case, then I suppose it may not predict anything for whatever AC will come to Switch. But I assumed the other way...

Nintendo said outright that they mean for the mobile game to ... well I'll just copy this from Nookipedia:
The game was described in Nintendo's 2017 earnings report for the full fiscal year as a "pure game application" that will "have more prominent game elements"[7] than Miitomo, Nintendo's first smartphone application, which launched in March of 2016. The report also noted that the application would be designed to "be connected with the world of Animal Crossing for dedicated gaming systems"[7], suggesting that the application will offer some sort of cross-title connectivity with existing or yet to be released Animal Crossing titles.
That's why I'm going to watch even though I don't like mobile games. The mobile game may give hints about what the real thing will be like or features it may have, unless it's to connect to New Leaf rather than a new game for Switch. But I'd still be curious anyway.

Watched it. It looked...okay. But I wasn't very interested, overall. Felt mostly like Happy Home Designer to me except outdoors and with some New Leaf activities tweaked a little before throwing them in. I saw one feature that looked like maybe they'll feature it in a new game, but otherwise it looked like something that might be able to connect to New Leaf if it received another update.
Overall...it hasn't gotten me any more excited about the AC world. Maybe if I find out what 'connectivity' they meant from previous mentions.
