In a few games, like MM for example, there is a frog that you can befriend. In Animal Parade you can even adopt one as a pet. However, the only time the frog ever comes out is when it rains, and it doesn't rain very often... at least not for me. Quite often a season will go by without a single raindrop.

In MM, it was the one wild animal I was never able to use to get the animal friendship note. In AP it was the one animal I never was able to adopt as a pet. I'm curious if anyone ever had the patience and perseverance to actually do it, though? I never did...

I did. I got it in my very first playthrough. I love that little froggy!

I did in MM. The frog was one of the first wild animals I managed to befriend, besides the cat, duck, and sparrow.

I did in AP, when i married the Witch. Thought it was fitting.
