Which protagonists have your favorite designs?

I'm pretty sure most fans customize the protagonist nowadays, but let's talk about default designs.

For me it's Mark (AWL), Toy (StH, not his remake design), and Pete (SNES-DS) for boys. Pony (AWL/Cute), Claire (BTN:FG/MFOMT/Cute), and Akari (ToT/AP) for girls.

Sonja is my big favourite if RF counts, her design is gorgeous.

Sara and Mark (AWL) for main HM games.

Claire (MFoMT/DSCute), Mark (AWL), and Angela (ToT/AP). Not a fan of designs with hats for whatever reason, although I do like the ANB female MC but that's kind of just looks like Claire with a cowboy hat.

Mark (IoH/SH) is my favorite design for the guys by far, Molly/Hikari (AP) for girls because I love her hair. I also like Toy (both versions), Pony (both versions), and Mark (AWL).

Claire, hands down. All she needed was glasses, and it was me! XD I have to admit, I do love the customizing options they have now, though.

Both Mark and Pony (AWL), Claire (MFOMT), Pete and Amanda (MM), The girl MC from TOTT (never saw her official name), Chelsea (IoH/SI), the default box-art look of Annie (SOS), Gretel (GrB), Connie and Cory (MLS), and Toy (StH/HOLV).
Edit: I think I remembered the MC names from TOTT; Phillip and Lillian.

Claire has a nice design, but feels like we've had several Claire clones thus far. Is there really no way to do "light blonde hair and blue eyes" without looking like Claire?

I kinda like the guy from AWL a bit more though.

My first introduction to Claire was in Boy & Girl on the PSP, where she for some unholy reason wears red clown shoes (that may actually even be supposed to look like high heels), which kinda ruined her for me. So when I got DS Cute, I went with Pony.

they're both called tony. the wonderful life dude has two fanon names and zero canon names. most of the protagonists don't have canon names. i prefer to call the awl guy tony because it's less confusing than calling multiple characters mark

I find Rio/Rachel(ANB) to have a really adorable default appearance. Claire will always have a special place in my heart of course. Nana/Connie (MLS) is also really adorable! As for the guys, probably Yuuri/Phillip (TToTT) and Van/Hansel (GrB).
