Re: Favorite House

There's a reoccurring setup with the bed in the corner with a diary, calendar, and tv just lined up along the wall, and a table right in the middle of that emptiness with 0-2 chairs. It makes it hard to judge most homes for anything besides the floor and walls, which often start out wooden and brown. I like those houses for their simplicity.
A(n)WL seems special to me. But I love pretty much everything I see in that game. That really feels like a home and it gets better as your wife/husband moves in and years pass. And it's different depending on who you're with. I think this has to be my favorite.
And here's anything else I found noteworthy after staring at all of the houses.
I, too, like the upstairs in SoS and AP. And it seems that MM has that too. But the thing with all of the beds in SoS is weird. As is the porch in AP that's totally blocked off from inside and out.
I like the options in 3oT, but I wish I had more control. Placing certain farm circles inside would be nice.
Innocent Life and GrB were both very different from usual. Not sure of my feelings on IL, the GrB has a darn cute house. I like it being attached to the barn.
I like any game that lets me change the walls and floor, but I'm especially pleased with my ANB home.
I noticed that the homes in Konohana and Bluebell are slightly different in ToTT. Neither are too special, but it struck me as interesting. Think I like Konohana better.
The flower box that counts power berries in GBC is interesting.
I think the castle in RF4 looks pretty. But placing furniture where you want it is a struggle. Also there's those windows that already look randomly placed, and then you realize that there's another room behind them... so where is that sunlight coming from?
And I've never wanted to move things around as much as I did in RF: ToD. Things just put themselves in strange places. Neat looking besides that issue. Really detailed.
SI looks more boring than usual somehow. And I don't care for the yellowish shade of the wood in FoMT. Probably the only two I own that I have any actual negative thoughts towards.
