Pokemon Let's Go is fantastic. I've been really having a ball getting all my favourites + experiencing new elements to the story. I loooove riding around on my Persian!
I've had bad luck with my shiny chaining, all the times I get to a high #, I end up messing up and the Pokemon escape which breaks my chain. Haven't actually seen any shiny Pokemon yet, but i'd love to get one! For now i'm on to Celadon City (my favorite part of Kanto).
My games after Pokemon are Cattails (Nov 29) and GRIS (Dec 13). Don't think i'm gonna have the funds for anything else between or after those (the next title I'm anticipating is Tale of Vesperia in January), but we'll see!

Glad Pokemon Let's Go is living up to expectations
I'm working on L&S again and man, Chapter 8 feels like the chapter that just will not die. It never ends! I feel like I've been working on chapter 8 for half the game. :/ Lol, between the parts of Sky that I don't enjoy and the bits of L&S that I don't enjoy, it feels like I'll bounce between the two, playing when I'm rested up from the frustrations of one to avoid the frustrations of the other. I like them both, but there just gets to be too much of some things for me.

Pokemon Let's Go seems super cute! I might pick it up later on if I get a lull in releases, which might happen at the beginning of next year for me.
I don't blame you Kikki for disliking chapter 3 in Trails FC, because Zeiss imo is by far the worst town in the whole game lol. The town layout is particularly frustrating to me for some odd reason.
Making a last ditch backlog cleansing marathon before the end of the year, and I'm hoping to get 3 of my games (Vampyr, Wuppo and Battle Chef Brigade) done this week, then the next week finish up Trails 3rd, then get back to Yakuza by late November/early December. Hope I can get it done!
Black Friday is probably going to murder my plans though, lol. Not to mention birthday/Christmas/winter steam sales in December...

Thanks Kirie; Zeiss is the technologically advanced town, too, that all of these lengthy JRPGs that I'm into seem to work in somewhere.
Spoiler:
Trails games, Xenoblade games, etc...there'll always be a town or region where things are very mechanical, and I never like them. I like the prettier areas with more growing things. A good many people seem to find this too weird to accept, but my motivation to play takes a drastic dive downward if I don't find what I'm looking at to be pretty in some way. The beautiful teal and orangey-yellow tiles on the floors in Ruan for example, made me happier just to go in and out of buildings, lol.
I'm also finding combat to be very odd in this chapter. I barely levelled at all in Ch2...I never seemed to NEED to fight and the monsters were too wimpy to give me any good EXP anyway...I only gained two levels in that chapter compared to 9 in each previous section...but the monsters were all still very easy and only giving me one pitiful EXP per kill in the Zeiss region. But then that one battle (somewhere around the middle of the chapter, I think) with only two enemies against my full party and I had to replay it 6 times before the difficulty was low enough to not be wiped out!
The balance just isn't working for me in that chapter and I also missed 2 quests the blink of an eye. For a long time at the beginning I was locked into a main quest sequence and COULDN'T go do any side quests, and it seemed like very shortly after I was let free again, the quests were already expired due to progression beyond their availability point.
Anyway, I'm going to restart the chapter and be a bit more precise about doing things, since I'm sure they're all doable. Just for some reason this chapter's balance feels terrible. :/
EDIT: SNIPPED bits about frustration with Lydie and Suelle in Chapter 8.
REVISED TO: I'm done it now! I wasn't having any fun from chapter 8 on, so I just went ahead for the normal ending, though I did save before doing the final test, so I can go back to that save and finish some character endings and go for the good ending if I want...I had ample character levels but my alchemy level was only 38, so it'd take a lot of synthesizing to get me to 50. Or the character specific endings. But I don't think I will. I'm done with it for now, anyway. I had fun for the first half of the game, but the things I didn't like as much became very prominent as the game progressed and the difficulty went up.

So I beat Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu yesterday. Now I'm just trying to get all the Pokemon. I'm just missing 3, so I'm almost done! I'm going back to Rune Factory 2 afterwards and I'm hoping to beat it before Smash comes out.

MASSIVE eShop sale just dropped. A few on my wishlist was on sale (sadly not YS >:/) and I picked up Valiant Hearts. So, backlog rn is essentially;
Pokemon Let's Go (about 80% done)
Valiant Hearts
Cattails
GRIS
If I have any funds left after buying GRIS, I might nab something else.

All right, my Pokedex is complete, I got the shiny charm, and I have several Meltan in Pokemon Go. I'm going to evolve Meltan on Go for now and head back to Rune Factory 2. Just 17 more days until Smash!
Also, this is what happens when you get the Pokedex filled out.

Steam sale!
I didn't know the sequel for To The Moon (go play it now if you haven't, 13/10 would cry again) was released in 2017! Definitely getting it when I get home today.
That's another game added to my PC backlog ahaha;;;

I've finally finished Waku Waku Sweets (it's extremely simple but they space the contests fairly far apart in terms of how many desserts you have to give out before a contest will trigger, so you have to go through 80 to 90 game days before you'll get to the last one.)
Spoiler:
The end is even worse than I'd have thought, lol. All through the game you interact with and are supported by your 3 coworkers. It's very minimal, but still...you see them every day. But in the end, you only get recognition from or see ONE of them at the end of the contest...and you don't even get to choose which one. (Unless there's some hidden mechanic that chooses for you based on how often you've interacted, but I don't think so. I took every possible interaction with every character every day, even though every day is the same.)
It's cute, and it has a few very good cooking mechanics (and a few that seem just a touch glitchy), but honestly otherwise this game is pretty terrible. Very cheap. Feels like many corners were cut. But it's done, anyway!
I'm on the final dungeon in Sky, so I could be done today, but honestly I'm so tired that when I'm not doing something I have to do, I'll probably just sleep, today. Still, I should be done soon, and that'll be one more game than I thought I'd finish in November, so I'm happy. Guess I'll aim for Sky 2 in December! I sure hope they announce something about Mysteria soon, though.

They made a sequel AND another game on top of that to bridge the two games together?! I need to play To the Moon again; it's just sitting on my desktop, waiting to be played.

Thanks to unexpected stress that makes napping not very easy, and distractions necessary, I finished Trails in the Sky! (lol) It's very good, definitely recommended for anyone who is into story-driven games, though it has lagging sections that made it a bit tedious at points since the graphic style can't carry me along. I'm not sure there was any weakness in the story, it's just that at certain points it would become too battle heavy, or the quests and people who were current weren't interesting to me, or etc.
But it's done, anyway, which means November is at (+1) now. I don't think I can finish anything else this month, but I always think that, and sometimes it ends up happening anyway. Guess we'll see.

I really want to play To the Moon as well, but no PC to play it. I did hear it's getting an anime movie next year, but i'd like to play it first. It's interesting that it has a mobile port but none on console. I mean, not EVERY indie needs be be on everything, but i'm certainly getting use to a good chunk of them either releasing simultaneously or getting ports down the line. My Steam Wishlist is mostly visual novels, but there's a small list on indies i'm holding out hope for eventual ports. Oneshot, Little Briar Rose, Feel the Snow, and more. One day I shall play them all! >:D

Wishlist atm:
Spoiler:
Death Mark (full price)
DOS2 ($40)
Fallout 4 Season Pass ($16)
And that's all i can think of atm. Gonna try and get DOS2 since its cheaper. Was gonna pass on Fallout 4 season Pass but $16 is a pretty damn good deal.
Death Mark will have to wait, me thinks.

@ Ronin
Yes !! Time to cry again
@ Bluie
Whoa I hope the anime gives it justice. I'll look out for that.
I checked the games you mentioned, and they all seem really interesting! I'm seriously thinking of getting Little Briar Rose; it seems to be just my style and it's on sale too (not big, but a lil discount is better than none).
Another one on my wishlist is World's Dawn, currently at 75% off. Might pick that up as well hmm..
As for backlog, I finally finished SOS Trio of Towns. Even though Westown was there from the start, it was the last town I got to S rank. That's what I get for playing blind lol
I have the whole day to play today (yay for lazy Saturdays), so I might go start on Finding Paradise (aka To The Moon 2).

Glad I piqued your interest! Tell us how it is if you end up getting/playing Little Briar Rose! I personally feel it has a high chances at a Switch port due to mobile games port pretty easily to Switch (for better or worse LOL).
I caught Mewtwo in Let's Go and decided to call it quits for now. The post game doesn't overly interest me atm, but that might change. For now, it's in the finished pile.
I've gotten to chapter 2 in Valiant Hearts. I have this sinking feeling i'm not going to be OK when I finish this game. I'm getting too attached to characters in a game set in WW1. Yeah... that'll end well, i'm sure.
All these Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales are SUPER tempting, but I must resist further purchasing until GRIS is up for pre purchase! The sales might be gone by then, but oh well, there's always next time!
