For the green mist/swarms, tbh its just a matter of survival + healing enough + good timing of attacks. Better equipment/higher combat levels can help you, but tbh a lot of it early on its probably better to just craft stairs to the mine and bring them with you so you can just immediately go down the next level asap. Especially when you get into the green rooms/monster dens or whatever, its better to just skip it and maybe come back later if you really want to.

Check your crafting section and look for stairs. Should be there.

If you escape to the next floor, it hecks off. >3 Also, if you think the bugs are bad, wait until you reach the BATS. Cheese and crackers....
Thank you so much!!

I'm slowly creeping towards Farming Level 8.

I recently expanded my house.

Next, I plan to go or the second rucksack expansion or a barn. Should I do that or build a silo?

I really want to build a slime hutch, too.

An attempt of going to level 15 in the mines will come once I get better equipment.

I'm on Fall 1, Year 1. Alex is now at 5 or 6 hearts and I've seen four (4) of his heart events.

So, I accidentally canceled Linus' Fall request/quest which was to find his berry basket. Then, I found it directly after. I tried giving it to him, but it says "wrong person." I have the basket in a chest. Do I have to wait a year to give it to him again or is the quest lost forever? I can't go back. I'm already days ahead.

I got second place at the Stardew Valley fair. How do you get first place? Do the star tokens carry over from one year to the next? Because I had enough to get the rarecrow (turnip head), but my inventory was full. What's a good strategy to get 2,000 star tokens?

How do you get more hardwood? The only place I've seen it is in the mines.

How do you get star tokens from the target minigame at the Stardew valley fair? I can hardly aim well enough to get over 25 points.

I'm in the middle of Fall. Alex is my boyfriend. I got Sebastian up to two hearts so I can get into his room and I have Shane up to 2 hearts. I'm romancing Shane so I can get blue chickens.

I'm one level away from Farming Level 8.

I have a barn and a brown cow I named Sweetie.

I'm going to build a silo and then get the third rucksack expansion and plant grass.

I've been in the mines again, but only to get slime for the bundle in the community center.

The fishing minigame at the Stardew Valley fair taught me how to fish.

AFAIK, the quests you cancel are gone forever. But good job on finding the basket! I never could until I looked it up. XD

First place in the fair needs high quality items, iirc or rare ones. If you check the SDV forums, you might find tips there too. The tokens carry over, and I've found that fishing always was the easiest for me, but that's because I modded fishing to be Less Obnoxious. I've also heard it said that the green-orange spinner is a good way to get them as well.

Hardwood can be gleaned from the secret forest behind the wizard's tower. You need... I think a copper... no, a steel axe to get into the forest past the hardwood log, and then there are stumps that respawn daily.

Thank you so much. I'm trying to get the squid as well. But it's a little tough. I'm in the beginning of Winter Year one. I think the squid is the one that goes fast and I can't catch it.
