LoH Tips (SPOILERS)

So I did a search and didn't see this as a topic, so I thought I would post a few things that so far seem to be a little different or maybe an expansion on ideas put out about playing LoH.
Spoiler:
The first 2 days of the game there is no passage of time and no stamina depletion. You can't clear more land of anything (weeds, rocks, trees) but if there is nothing in the square of land it can be tilled/planted/watered. When I start a new file, I plant 50 cabbages (go back to Jeanne after each 10 for 10 more seeds) on each of the first three days. The only problem with this can be if it doesn't rain on the 3rd day you won't have enough stamina to water the other 100 and till/plant/water 50 more. You can't buy more food until you repair the restaurant. The only forage comes from the Lighthouse area and you have to give away one of the four bamboo shoots to eventually get an axe. Furthermore, the forage takes several days to regrow. So raining on the 3rd day becomes very important.
As far as tilling/planting/watering on day one, each time when Jeanne is giving you the tutorial after you accomplish doing what she requests 4 times, she will move on in the tutorial until you have watered four squares. Then she will say you look tired go on in the house to get some rest (not exact wording but close enough). Each time she requests you do something in the tutorial you're free to do whatever you want, even when she tells you to go in the house you are not forced to do that. So while the tutorial is going on you can till all you want while you are supposed to be planting seeds, you can plant as many seeds as you want before you fill the watering can or before you water the four plots of seeds, and before you go in the house you can water all the seeds you have planted. Or you can do it all before you go in the house after completing the tutorial. You just have to go talk to Jeanne after every 10 seeds to get 10 more.
Day 2, you can clear weeds. Plan ahead and remove weeds from anywhere that you will be planting seeds on day 3 since time doesn't pass and stamina doesn't deplete. One or two might come back but for the most part, it will conserve your stamina for the tilling and planting. Yes, planting seeds uses a small amount of your stamina, as does harvesting, and weeding. If you till but don't plant seeds, the till spot will go away when you sleep/place the first stone. The first time you go to talk to Jeanne on day 2, there will be a cutscene and you will be transported to just in front of where you place the stones at the foot of the lighthouse. As long as you don't move into the center of where the 5 stones are placed, you won't initiate the scene placing the first stone. You will be able move back and forth planting the seeds and getting more until you decided to place the stone. At the end, you go to sleep. So, do all planting, tilling, watering and clearing before placing the stone.
Day 3, if it isn't raining, I restart my file. An alternative is to make sure to save before placing the first stone, so that you can load it and plant most/all the cabbages you would have planted on the 3rd day. This means you would only have to water the cabbages on day 3 but it means you will have to spend a lot of time harvesting cabbages on day 5. Cabbages planted on day 1 are harvested on day 4. Your call on what to do, I restart.
Anytime you will be harvesting cabbages the next day, I have found that if you get your stamina down to half a heart before bed (or restoring a light on the lighthouse), you will get more red cabbages the next day. Make sure you save before you go to bed so you can reload if you feel you should get more red cabbages. Also I would recommend saving in a different spot in the morning so that if you reload and don't get as many, you can go back to the higher amount. I have never had more than 12 cabbages that were red of the 50 I grew, doesn't mean someone wouldn't get more than 12. By doing this, I managed to get 33 red cabbages by the 11th of Spring.
Other than Michael, anyone I gifted with a flower gave me either hearts or a note. I didn't test everyone with a seashell but on one of forums someone claimed that everyone liked seashells. I do know that all the Mages, Nova and Sam gave hearts when I gifted them a seashell.

You still have infinite time and stamina in the part of the game when you rescue rowan, and you can pull up weeds by then.

Jeanne still gives you infinite seeds if you go find her near the lighthouse.

Yup in the spoiler box.

Also regarding growing out of season crops:
I have only tested in the first spring (so after the first spring I am assuming this changes because of all the questions and freaking out in different forums), however, when you grow out of season plants they don't need fertilizer unless they are multi-harvest plants. Then multi-harvest plants don't require fertilizer until after the first harvest and you only need to fertilize them once per harvest. So flowers, tomatoes, etc. don't waste your money on fertilizer. Corn you don't need to bother until you've made your first harvest then fertilize them once and you won't have to worry about it until your next harvest.

Edit:
So just re-did my file on LoH again, I've played through the main story line 5 times now (well, this is the 5th time now). The first time I bought fertilizer, and fertilized every out of season crop/flower I was growing. I only grew out season crops that had to do with the main story or fulfilling requests. The next 3 times, I only used fertilizer as stated above but also only growing crops associated with the main story or fulfilling requests. I never had any of my crops go bad before I harvested. This time, I decided to grow white roses and suddenly boom I am having to fertilize everything out of season every single day. Up until I planted the white roses, I had no problem. Grew 20 Cosmos and Sunflowers in the middle of spring, not a single one died. Grew a Dahlia and it was no problem. Grew Tomatoes, no problem. Corn was no problem through several regrows. The day after I harvested my pink roses and did the part the story line associated with them, suddenly several of my white roses died and some of my corn, even though I had already fertilized it after harvesting, died also. So was I just lucky before, or is there some sort of line that I crossed?
