Back in September of last year, Square Enix released a demo for their upcoming game; Project Octopath Traveler. After it's release they sent out a survey to every downloader to get feedback on what should be improved upon. We had a decent discussion here about it, and now they've given their answer.
The video is in Japanese but has English subtitles. I see a lot of great improvements and this game is still my most anticipated this year. Did you all who took the survey get the improvements you wanted?
I'm not actually interested in Octopath (I did try the demo, though...that's how I know I'm not interested) but I think it's really cool that they're doing this. I never got a survey so I didn't know it was going on, but it's neat that a big developer like Square Enix is getting and responding to fan feedback in this way. It seems like this will be a game good enough for that lots of people may end up using it as a benchmark.
Ah yes I saw this video on Reddit and was excited to see them take player feedback seriously. Personally loved the demo and this is one of my most anticipated games. I actually liked the game so much that I didn't have any feedback, the things that were improved on are great, but didn't bother me in the first place. Either way, can't wait to play :}
