HM hasn't had a spinoff in a while, iirc. I know Rune Factory was a hit (especially in Japan), but I'm pretty sure that's dead now.

What would make a good spinoff concept? More puzzle games? Something else entirely?

There's still a few signs of life in RF.

Anyway, never more puzzle games. Those were a Natsume thing anyway if I recall. I liked the idea Hometown Story had going on, but that's also a Natsume thing.

I wouldn't mind if they picked up Innocent Life again, but I think some things need to change. And I think the HM sister series, River King would've done better if it would've had marriage in it.

As for my own ideas? Um... I dunno. First thing that popped into my mind was magical girls cause I looks at a Sailor Moon dvd. No idea how that'd work. Next thought is something that involves herding like in Herdy Gerdy. What else can even be combined with farming??? XD
