To be honest, most of what is in this thread doesn't really come across as 'risque' to me (though some of it is
funny), and after Shan's last comment I had a comment ready to post about that, and then thought maybe the reason I don't think it is that way is just because of the way *I* am (I usually don't construe things as sexual unless they're pretty blatant or if the whole game already has that tone...I just don't lean that way) rather than because those hints aren't there. So I didn't post it, thinking it could just as easily have been intended to be suggestive after all.
I don't know what the answer to that is, but...I think if you want to see something suggestive in some of the lines, there's no harm in doing so, regardless of the game creators' original intent. After all, most of us here are not children, so naturally that is an aspect some of us want to see. And I don't know where each of you is, but I'm not Japanese, and I usually don't try to interpret the game any way but in the one that is natural to
me. I also didn't find Raeger's bath line to be suggestive...it just felt routine to me...but if it makes the game more fun to see it that way, then I'd definitely go with that.

It's a life sim...it's nice to see your digital life however is the most fun for you. If it's more fun to have a flirty spouse, then it's nice that some lines can be interpreted that way, whether they were originally intended as such or not. That's how I feel about it, anyway.

Oh yeah no, that's true. I just saw someone else saying something about that last thing and decided to basically let them know they weren't alone.
Trust me, I often go back and forth how my brain takes things.
I know I've noticed some things too but I'm too tired for my brain to function apparently...

Speaking of the bathing, and yes I know how it is in Japan, that doesn’t really change things here... Like, it’s normal where I’m from for young siblings, and even for friends to bathe together. I have, so the concept isn’t lost on me. And of course spouses bathe together. But there was that one scene in AWL that got to me a bit. There I was, just a couple day from dying, feeling kinda bummed out about it. I walk into my kitchen and my grown son is wanting to take a bath with me. Billy was a strange child. XD That killed me. I didn’t know there was a scene like that so far into the game. Think there’s one for when he’s younger? Triggering the scene actually startled me cause I thought it was going to be one of those kitchen scenes with the bear that I don’t entirely believe in the existence of.
