If you could have any animal in a bokumono game

If you put a fish (any type of fish, as well as pearl oysters) into one of the Fish Hatcheries, and you can breed/grow up to 10 fish before you have to take them out. You can see more information on that part of the game HERE, if you'd like.Anonymous Fish wrote:Really? That's nice. I didn't expect Marvelous to actually do that.

I agree with having less versions of the same animal that compels you to keep 1 of everything and add in multiplying by product level to make up for that and slow down on the wool makers.
I'd rather just have cows (different styles but various milk types) and then maybe sheep and two kinds of alpacas. I like having rabbits but in coops or tiny barns but rather just have one kind of rabbit and chickens but I'd rather have chickens and ducks that multiple types of chickens (though 2 isn't too bad).
So we're talking 1 kind of milk 2-3 kinds of eggs and 4 wool/fur type products. And byproduct level to max at like 2 or 3 so you can keep multiple cows just to be a dairy farmer, etc or just have one and have limited milk.
The quail was awesome even though not a money maker - just adds flavor and you can use their eggs for most egg required things so not total garbage. I cook with the eggs.

The annoying thing about the quail egg though was it's not substitutable with the + rank products in at least 1 dish. It's too easy to forget that and only remember because OOPS can't cook it anymore. Or maybe I'm just dumb. Call me weird but I like the idea of having some mystical animals as producing animals, because that establishes a world where things work differently. Sure, phoenixes are mystical and mythical and revered here for example, but maybe in another place they're so common and can be a nuisance like magpies or something. IDK

I am specializing my farm and so in general, I only buy recipes that use ingredients I'll have on hand - including limited crops. I like the 3 coops look so I have one of each chicken. I most sell all my eggs but the ones I do save for cookies are reg ones.ChaosAzerothCat wrote: The annoying thing about the quail egg though was it's not substitutable with the + rank products in at least 1 dish. Are you talking about the three fried eggs recipe? I was really annoyed about that, I raised my chickens, quail and silkie chicken to byproduct level S and suddenly realized that I can't cook it anymore :/ChaosAzerothCat wrote:The annoying thing about the quail egg though was it's not substitutable with the + rank products in at least 1 dish. Yep, leave it to me to charge forward and then realize I was playing too 'hard'.Autumn Fairy wrote:Are you talking about the three fried eggs recipe? This game I like cooking way too much in too.
