Hello! Who did you marry in AP? And what were they like as a spouse? Thanks!

I married Chase. He was a butt but thats the kind of characters I usually like. If you're into the whole tsundere archetype I'd say go for it but if not he's probably not your cup of tea. Even for some people who don't usually mind that kind of character, he can be a bit much for them as well according to some friends so yeah.

i've married renee, luna, and wizard. they're all pretty much the same after marriage as they are before. having to speed through plot dialogue every time i say good morning to the wiz is a pain, but i guess he can be forgiven since he's cute

i like the 'what you see is what you get' types. character arcs are good and all, but the ones who become a completely different person after you pop the question run the risk of turning into someone you weren't interested in and no longer want to be married to

How though...? He seemed pretty ok when I played, he just seemed a little grump and like he doesn't like talking to people (like genuinely, he just seems antisocial...).

I married Kathy my first playthrough! She won me over - she's super sweet and down to earth. I found when I made my rounds giving all the girls gifts I would always stop and talk to her and started to really enjoy her dialogue. I should go back and finish playing that file...

he makes a comment about you eating cake? or something like that and says your fat or something along those lines. I haven't played the game in years and don't remember the exact quote but he either strongly implies or straight out says that your character is fat or whatever

And to me he definitely came across more of just being kind of sarcastic as opposed to shy/socially awkward. Dylas from RF4 and Gray from MFoMT fit into that 'I'm a jerk because I'm socially awkward' trope more than Chase does. At least imo, its different for everyone

I never married him because AP bored me so much but I did read his dialogue lines (but I don't recall seeing the cake thing, I think I only saw non-event dialogue). I think the rudest tsun in the series is Neil but I still like him... xD His expressions are too cute.
