Still team Claude despite the links confirming that he is not Bi...... ugh he is just too handsome. Edlegard will definitely be my second play through.

Bummer about the s/s options having such an imbalance. :/ I can't say I'm surprised, but frustrated nonetheless.
I came to ask, do we have confirmation on how recruiting students from the house you don't choose is going to work? More info in spoiler, in case people don't want to read stuff from the official site and recruitables.
Spoiler:
The official website says this on the subject--
"See a student you want in your house? Try recruiting them! Each character will want you to strengthen certain stats before they’ll agree, though."
So is it that simple, and we can recruit whoever we want if we have the right stats raised? Or is it limited, and only some people are recruitable no matter what you do? I was reading back and saw people discussing how the majority of the Golden Deer are recruitable if you choose other houses, but wasn't sure if more had been talked about or if we knew anything for certain! My bad, if this has been answered >< I'm half avoiding spoilers at this point, so a couple posts I mostly skimmed through, so I might've missed info in those.

@Shortybread
From what I've gathered
Spoiler:
The only known person that can successfully transfer from their original to a new house is Felix (shown on video), and apparently you can convince multiple people to change houses. Also the three lords and their retainers (ie lorenz, hubert, and dedue) are not able to be convinced, but yes what I've heard it's creating specific stats in order to convince someone to join.
I'm still confused that claude has 2 ball scenes with different perspectives (black gloved hand has a taller perspective) with youtube recordings to back it up (black gloved hand and ungloved hand) so yeah it's confusing.
Also for everyone since we are 10 days away! Who are you excited to S rank with Byleth? For me Felix, Claude, and Edelgard

TBH I'm still depressed about Claude and Shamir not being bi options. Truly a crime against humanity.
Romance interests
Spoiler:
-Claude
-Dimitri
-Shamir
-Linhardt (obligatory m/m choice)
-Caspar
-Felix
-Ashe
-Marianne
-Mercedes & Dorothea (for f/f choices)
-Sylvain is super cute but sounds...boring.
Im mildly curious about Gilbert and Alois but unless they have magical transformations post time skip...nope! Someone did edit Gilbert with a beard and ngl he looked hot.

Excited to pair up my Byleth with Dimitri. Ever since I saw him, I really am 100% sure he's the one.

@the spoiler
Spoiler:
There’s actually been a lot of characters that have been confirmed to be able to change houses, including one that was shown in the treehouse the big guy from GD whose name I can’t remember lol. We haven’t heard much about the multiple people part and how many you can recruit, but from what I’ve seen you’d have to be pretty dedicated to those stats and manage your time really well to get a bunch of students.
You can also borrow students for a limited amount of time. I can’t remember a ton of details about that atm tho.
I’m not sure which scenes your referring to, but there are 2 versions for each cutscenes for F!Byleth and M!Byleth. here’s video showing it off. Like different reactions, animation changes, and stuff like that. They’re different heights too (M!Byleth is taller) and they’re dressed differently (M!Byleth has gloves for example). So that’s probably why you saw two versions of the same cutscene.
As for me, I’ll probably shop around before I decide who to s support since it’s a global release so there aren’t translations of supports from months before to go on lol. Rn the leaders, Ferdinand, and Sylvain are at the top of my list.

Has this question been answered yet: Can you only romance house leaders if you've selected their respective house?

That is correct, yep! One of the previewers specifically mentioned it.
I am aware you can recruit a variety of students (I heard in one of the reviews that you could recruit multiple students), I was simply stating that Felix was successfully recruited to another house on a youtube video

On the recruitable stuff~
Spoiler:
Ahh, that's a bummer about the lords and their retainers, but makes sense.
I am glad Felix is among of the recruitables though, and I do remember Raphael being mentioned in the Nintendo Treehouse. Well, thank you all for the info everyone! I really appreciate it! Now to decided what house to join knowing all this, lol, it's gonna be a hard decision. ;_;

It's a curse. I don't know if I could romance any other person in my other route. True that I could imagine Byleth as an individual but the fixed appearance conditioned my mind that they are the same person. I plan to do a male Byleth for my Black Eagles route but I'm not sure what to do with my Golden Deer route.

I have to wonder if some houses routes are easier than others. Like with Fates one version of the game was easier to play than the other (Birthright being easier than Conquest). Any word on that?

I heard through the grapevine...
Spoiler:
Black Eagles is a little more easier while Golden Deer is pribably the hardest one of the three. Not 100% sure as I haven't been digging for that but that's from what Ive heard.
It makes sense to me though, cause I imagine an empire would have more resources compared to the other nations. Thus battles would be easier. May not directly translate that properly but w/e.

Thanks.
Spoiler:
Well I love archers, but I assumed golden deer might be more difficult of the three. I may just have to steal some recruits.
