From what I've seen in all but one trailer they pretty much place and or introduce him in the same vein as Hubert and Dedue on the sites and promotional materials, so it's definitely confusing.

I've given up on even pretending to not get spoilers at this point. I can't get the game until I get a Switch Lite, which by then FE:TH will have been out for quite a while, along with maybe some of the DLC. So by the time I get it everyone will be talking about Pokemon or something else. Oh well, I'm used to that I guess. At least any info or help I need will already be out there.

Guys go to Joe Zieja's (Claude's voice actor) youtube right now you won't regret it. Ught if I wasn't Golden Deer before well I sure am now!

I don't think I'll be able to stand a total blackout, but I will be clearing my browsing history of fire emblem related things and avoiding places that I know post that stuff when I can. Thankfully I'm not following too many FE related social media accounts.
I'm still undecided on what route I'm gonna go with though, gdi. OTL I'll probably have to at least learn if certain characters are recruitable or not because that's my major hangup right now. If I can just recruit a ton of the other students then I might just go Golden Deer for Claude.
I'm so indecisive though, lol~
